Nintendo on my iPhone? The end is nigh.
Nintendo's Miiverse, a social network for the Wii U, will be coming to PC and smartphone browsers in April or May, with a 3DS version coming at a later date.

Movies and TV shows on Netflix can now be accessed through Nintendo TVii.
Netflix content is now accessible through Nintendo TVii.
Shows and movies on Netflix have always been viewable on the Netflix Wii U app, but with Nintendo TVii, you can search for content and be given the choice of how to view it. Netflix will now be a choice when applicable.

The company behind Guitar Hero and Rock Band is working on three new titles.
Harmonix, the company best known for music games like the Rock Band series, is working on three new games.
Brad Feld, the managing director of The Foundry Group and new member of the Harmonix Board of Directors, confirmed that three new titles are in development at the company. No other details are known about these games, although one of them is thought to be a real-time combat game.

The 1.2 patch will provide fixes for several game-breaking bugs.
A patch for Wii U launch title ZombiU has gone live in North America, and is expected to soon be available worldwide, Ubisoft has confirmed.
The 1.2.0 software update, which requires just 18MB of storage space to download, fixes a number of bugs that prevented progress or caused the game to crash, as well as various other glitches.

DICE is 'playing it safe' with its latest shooter.
The recently-announced Battlefield 4 will not be making its way to the Wii U, DICE confirmed.
During its European unveiling in Stockholm last night, the game was confirmed for a 2013 launch at Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Creative director Lars Gustavsson explained that neither DICE nor its publisher, Electronic Arts, has plans to bring the shooter to the Wii U.

An interview with Capcom shines new light on this upcoming project.
Disney recommended to Capcom that WayForward Technologies develop DuckTales Remastered. This, and several other details, were revealed in a Destructoid interview with the game's producer Rey Jimenez.
Capcom bonded well with WayForward, “they handled practically all of the production side like pros. The game has been in development for around a year, and we would love to work with them again... retro or otherwise,” said Jimenez.

Patience is a virtue.
Capcom Community Manager Brett Elston addressed rumors of a new Mega Man game this past weekend, stating that, although no new game has been confirmed, discussions are happening.
Elston took to Twitter to directly respond to rumours emerging from PAX East on March 22. He said:
“To clarify – didn’t confirm a new Mega Man game. Mentioned the discussions are still going, but will not announce anything until it’s ready.”

Feel heroic as you buy your morning coffee.
Lawson convenience stores in Japan will be getting a makeover starting March 30 to promote the upcoming Japanese Wii U Dragon Quest release.
The result of teamwork between Square Enix and Lawson, stores will be decorated in an Astoltia motif until May 7. Certain stores will also stock replica Hero and Sky Swords with Slime-themed shopping bags.

Nintendo's manager of business development Dan Adelman has revealed in an interview with Gamasutra that it has lowered its requirements for developers to make games on their Wii U and 3DS eShops. In the interview, Dan mentions that Nintendo wants to make getting a game approved on the eShop "as frictionless as possible", compared to the WiiWare and DSiWare services.

Turtle Tale, a new Nintendo 3DS eShop title from Saturnine Games has been revealed.
Saturnine Games, the developer behind the DSiWare game Antipole, are developing Turtle Tale. The game is a 2D platformer inspired by classic games of the genre that were found on the NES and SNES.

Luigi's Mansion gets the 3D puzzle panel treatment.
Nintendo have added a new Puzzle Swap panel in the United States, featuring artwork from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
The puzzle consists of 40 pieces with 8 of them being the pink variety only available through StreetPass trading. As with all new puzzle additions, those with a Wi-Fi connection will receive one piece for free to start off their collection.

Relive a pair of arcade D&D brawlers with Chronicles of Mystara.
A double pack of Dungeons & Dragons beat-'em-ups, dubbed Chronicles of Mystara, is coming to the Wii U eShop this Summer, Capcom revealed during PAX East 2013.
The compilation, which is being handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, contains the arcade titles Towers of Doom and Shadows of Mystara with improved HD visuals and several gameplay enhancements.

A horned skull and a bloody carving tease one creepy game.
Renegade Kid's FPS for the 3DS eShop is called Cult County, and seems to exhibit a horror theme.
Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham Tweeted a picture of their booth at PAX East, which shows a banner for the game. It bears a horned skull and a bloody carving.
Watsham has noted that the PAX demo is only a "atmosphere demo." Nintendo World Report staff are at the event, and we'll provide more details later.

The German Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body approves.
The restriction that only allowed 18+ games to be viewed and downloaded on the Nintendo eShop between 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM has been removed.
Previously, even if you were of the proper age, 18+ games were only viewable and purchasable at certain hours. This was because of a German law on the sale of games online, and as Nintendo of Europe's servers are based in Germany those restrictions were enforced.
