Mario Party 4 and Metroid Advance GC

by Michael Cole - 11:02 pm EDT

Web URLs give out a little more information.

After typing in a few game names, I found that MarioParty4.com lead to the Mario Party home page. This may not mean much (as this could be a saftey net for people who don't realize there is no fourth in the series,) But it is worth noting.

On a more exciting note, metroidadvance.com leads right to Nintendo's home page! If this doesn't confirm its existence, what does?!

Sneak Peak at Rare’s Secret E3 Game! GC

by Max Lake - 10:34 pm EDT

We’ve got information about one of the games Rare will show at E3. Check out another PGC exclusive as it breaks!

We recently heard from one of our many spies, who wanted us to know a little bit about something we’d be seeing from Rare at E3. Essentially, one of Rare's GameCube games features a female character (though she is not a “babe”) who seems to have the power to change into (or rather can reside in) various monsters. By doing this, she inherits the powers of the monster. Our source believes that this will be a playable demo too.

Don’t Forget Mom Today!

by Max Lake - 3:01 pm EDT

PGC celebrates the holiday that honors the women who spawned us – our mothers!

Although there’s probably no need to remind you that today is Mother’s Day, we decided we’d take a moment to give a shout out to mothers around the world. While it’s “just another holiday” it’s an important to have a day that pays tribute to moms. It’s also special because some of us have wives, sisters or friends who have just recently become mothers and are learning the ropes.

Not exactly GameCube, but perhaps a glimpse of things to come. WWF.com has an FMV Zelda advertisement available to stream for the upcoming Zelda GBC games, Seasons and Ages. Certainly impressive stuff and if GameCube Zelda looks anything like this those other consoles can kiss everything goodbye.

Jackie Chan Loves Nintendo

by Jonathan Metts - 9:50 pm EDT
Source: Activision Press Release

Games based on the very popular Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon are headed to Nintendo systems.

Although Activision released almost no information about the actual games...not even specific platforms...we now know that adaptations of the popular Saturday morning animated series are headed to either GameCube, GBA, or both. (The announcement might even include GBC, it's hard to tell from the language used.) In case you're not familiar with the show (I know I ain't), here's a brief description:

Analyst crazy about Nintendo!

Analyst Soichiro Fukuda of Nikko Salomon rates Nintendo highly.

Soichiro Fukuda has rated Nintendo as "outperform." That means that Nintendo's stock should do very well, but it's not a stock that everyone should flock to buy. It looks like Nintendo is winning more and more support....

GameCube Logo? GC

by Justin Nation - 8:37 am EDT
Source: GameFront

Make no assumption that this is the real deal but at least in one case, it is worth a gander.

German language site GameFront has put up two potential GameCube logos submitted to them by a reader apparently. Of course nobody should assume these are the real deal... nobody is probably going to say anything until the final annoucement next Wednesday... but still, this one particular logo concept is eye-catching.

While things may have been ugly for Nintendo fans for a little while there it appears that the wind may be changing...

A little more than a month ago it was getting a little bit nervous if you were a Nintendo fan. With the exception of Steven Kent it seemed like all the mainstream press had to say was uniformly negative and uninformed.

Ironically (or maybe not) the day after the frenzied night of GameCube insanity... Read more...
