Australians will be able to get a black balance board!
Nintendo Australia has announced that from December 1, they will be offering a new Wii bundle which will include the new Wii hardware revision, Wii Fit Plus, Wii Remote Plus/Nunchuk, and a Balance Board.
The Balance Board will be coloured black to match the rest of the console, as this new bundle will only be available in the black colour.

Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge has been confirmed as a launch title for the upcoming Wii U, based on Tecmo's marketing material.
In an earnings presentation, Tecmo Koei presented their plans for their upcoming releases. They explained their worldwide plans, which include handling systems based on regions. In a slide, they show future titles, which confirms Ninja Gaiden 3 as a launch title for the Wii U.

The 3D system may surpass the first-year sales of the Nintendo DS.
First-year sales of the 3DS may surpass the first-year sales of the original DS console, according to sales data by the NPD Group.
The 3DS sold 1.65 million units since its launch early in the year and is fast approaching its first holiday season, which will include the releases of Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. Nintendo expects the system to have surpassed sales of the DS once the holiday season is over.

On November 23, Nintendo Australia along with EB Games will be hosting a special launch event for both The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Super Mario 3D Land.
There will be food, drinks, music, and giveaways during the night. Everyone that attends will be given two free posters, and the opportunity to have their photograph taken in either Skyloft or the Mushroom Kingdom.

Nintendo may have a way to unlock more power in their new handheld.
The second processor core of the 3DS will be made available for use by developers, according to leaked information from Nintendo.
This processor is said to have previously been reserved solely for the handheld's operating system. It is rumored that an extra 25% of power will be unlocked, giving the developers access to significantly more raw processing power for their games.

Super Mario 3D Land has sold 343,492 copies since its early November release in Japan, according to data by Media Create.
The 3DS's first major 3DS title has seen great success since it was released on November 3, 2011. This has also inspired a sales surge of 3DS units, which has seen a steady performance since it received its first price drop a few months ago. Media Create states that 145,271 units have been sold.

The book, dubbed Monster Hunter 3G - Hunter Note, is a veritable Monster Hunter encyclopedia.
Monster Hunter 3G is hitting Japanese shelves on December 10, but before it does, players can pick up the book Monster Hunter 3G - Hunter Note on December 6.
Capcom is publishing the book, scheduled for release only four days before the launch of Nintendo 3DS game. The book will feature information on world, characters, monsters, and weapons on the Monster Hunter universe, and is 128 pages in length, priced at 980 yen.

Square Enix opened a site for the free beta test of the online RPG Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku (Awakening of the Five Tribes) today.
