The eShop gets quite a bit of content, while the Wii only sees one release.
Two Virtual Console games, as well as a slew of new content, head to the 3DS eShop, DSiWare Shop, and Wii Virtual Console this week.
First is Mad Dog McCree, a new eShop release. In the game, your objective is to hunt down the outlaw Mad Dog in a western town using the games light gun style gameplay. Check out our review which is coming soon. Mad Dog McCree is available now for $7.99.

Buy a game on your lunch hour, and it'll be downloaded by the time you're home from work.
Users will be able to purchase digital games from Nintendo directly via the Nintendo Network interface from any web browser, and then have them download to Wii U in the background immediately, even if the system is not turned on.
In the investors Q&A held recently by Nintendo, President and CEO Satoru Iwata detailed how users would be able to interact with the Nintendo Network both socially and financially.

Castlevania, Kingdom Hearts, and more are coming to both physical and digital formats.

Iwata kind of clarifies the Wii U storage conundrum.
While built-in storage for the Wii U is still not confirmed, a statement from Satoru Iwata could leave fans to believe that the Wii U may not have built-in storage for game content. Previous reports indicated that the Wii U would come with 8 GB of internal storage. Recent information from a mistranslation of Nintendo’s E3 analyst briefing and Q&A session has made this somewhat unclear.

Miyamoto confirms the studio is currently too busy to take on the task.
Retro Studios is not currently working on a Wii U Zelda game, a recent IGN interview with Shigeru MIyamoto reports.

Nintendo is more focused on the next big machine than upgrading the current one.

The 20th anniversary Kirby compilation for Wii, titled Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition, is set to hit stores in North America this September, IGN reports. Gamers in Japan will be able to celebrate with Kirby soon.
Kirby’s 20th Anniversary Special Collection is set to be released on July 19 in Japan for the Wii.
