The homebrew editor follows in the footsteps of the Pushmo level editor.
Eli Sherer released a homebrew Pyramids level editor for Windows today.
Pyramids is a 3DS puzzle-platformer by Enjoy Gaming, which is available for download on the eShop. The editor allows import and export of QR codes and functions similarly to Sherer's Pushmo Level Editor. The codes for extra levels were originally distributed by the developer, and no user-created level capability was available until now.

Capcom's new survival horror will use StreetPass in two ways.
Resident Evil: Revelations is going to make use of StreetPass to add new content into the game. The latest entry in the long running survival horror series will support the social interactive service across two main play modes. In the single player game, known as Campaign Mode, passing other players will collect additional items.

The soundtrack for Renegade Kid's Mutant Mudds is available for players to download at a price of their choosing.
The entire 16 track album can be purchased on the developer's Bandcamp page. The soundtrack includes music from each world, as well as title and level-select screens. Renegade Kid also offers the music selections of two other games, Dementium: The Ward and ATV Wild Ride, both using the same pricing structure.

Nintendo 3DS Renegade remake gets a free demo in Japan.
Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun Special, also known as Renegade in Western markets, has a free demo available on the Japan eShop. The Nintendo 3DS title, which was release on December 15 in Japan, was made to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series in Japan and features a variety of characters from Dodgeball and River City Ransom.

Plus new details on the Fiend's Cauldron!
Nintendo of Europe announced a March 23 release for Kid Icarus: Uprising, meaning it will release on the same day as North America.
The company also makes mention of the included stand, which means all three regions will get the peripheral packed in with the game. The stand will give gamers better control over the game and will give them, according to Nintendo, a new kind of gaming experience.

Japanese 3DS owners can get their hands on the Famicom title this February.
The Famicom version of Punch-Out!! will be available on the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console on February 2 for 500 yen.
Like the original Famicom version, the game's text will be in
English, but when or whether it hits North American shores is still
unknown.

A third-party battery offers a 10-hour battery life for Nintendo's 3D system.
Third party hardware company, Japan Trust Technology, has released a 3DS battery that extends the handheld's life significantly.
The 5,800mAh battery requires removal of the 3DS's original battery. But once it has been installed, it extends the battery life from the system's standard 3-to-5 hour game time to 10 hours of play time. The battery, however, makes the system 9mm thicker and heavier.

Australian fans won't have to wait too much longer.
Nintendo Australia has announced that The Last Story will be launching for the Wii on February 23, 2012.
The Last Story is the latest game to come from the famed developer of the Final Fantasy series, Hironobu Sakaguchi. The game features an extensive single player quest along with additional online multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Co-Op modes.

SVS Games's Order Up!! for the 3DS has been delayed until March of 2012.
Through a comment on the game's official page, they confirmed that both the 3DS and PlayStation 3 versions of the game were going to see a delay. Originally, they were meant to be released in January.

The anticipated Hatsune Miku game for the 3DS yields some neat accessories.
Hori has announced that they will be releasing 3DS accessory kits based on Sega's upcoming 3DS music game, Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai.
The accessories include an exterior skin and exterior skin and a pouch. These accessories are available for pre-order through Play-Asia. Both the game and the accessories will be released on March 8, 2012 in Japan.

Konami will be holding a raffle through their site for players to win tickets to purchase the Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D hardware bundle.
The recently announced hardware bundle will include a copy of the game, character artwork folders and a black 3DS with an embossed snake skin. Players that manage to win a ticket to purchase the bundle must then pay 22,980 yen for it (approximately $298 in American currency).

Hoping to gain more third party support, Nintendo confirms third parties have begun working on Wii U games.
Third party developers have received final Wii U development kits, Nintendo confirmed to Industry Gamers at CES.
Since the system was first unveiled at E3 2011, Nintendo has promised that the Wii U will receive more third party support thanks to its controller and approach towards gaming. Some of the confirmed developers as of now include Team Ninja, Electronic Arts, Namco Bandai, Sega, Ubisoft, THQ, Codemasters and many more.

Nintendo UK has announced a new deal with internet company Boingo Wireless Inc. to offer hotspot access at some airports at the United Kingdom.

Is there a new One Piece game heading to Nintendo platforms?
One Piece: New World Cruise might be the next One Piece game heading to Nintendo platforms, according to a trademark filed by Namco Bandai.
The One Piece universe has previously seen release on other Nintendo platforms, most recently on the 3DS in the form of One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP. With their current project, One Piece: Pirate Warriors for the PS3, releasing in the coming months Namco Bandai may be working on a new One Piece game.

3DS owners can get their hands on five discounted games.
Best Buy has discounted five 3DS games by 50% via Nintendo Zone, as confirmed by Nintendo of America on Twitter.
Titles with reduced pricing include Steel Diver, Pilotwings Resort, Madden NFL Football, Asphalt 3D, and Rayman 3D. When customers bring in their 3DS and the Nintendo Zone app is loaded, a bar code appears on the lower screen to be scanned at purchase.
