Sports Story Swings Onto Switch In Mid-2020 Switch

The next chapter in the Golf Story series is about much more than just hitting the links.

Featuring tennis, soccer, volleyball, baseball, and of course golf, the follow up to Golf Story, Sports Story, is coming to Nintendo Switch courtesy of Sidebar Games. It's billed as a golfing adventure with dungeons, mini-games and a more involved story than the original game. Today's Indie World presentation showcased a variety of new environments filled with NPCs and places to tee off.

Axiom Verge 2 Announced Switch

In an epic, one last thing, moment during today's Indie World Showcase, Thomas Happ revealed a sequel to his acclaimed Axiom Verge. While we don't know much, Axiom Verge 2 seems to carry forward the Super Metroid inspired gameplay of the original. Axiom Verge 2 will release on Nintendo Switch in fall of 2020.

Nintendo Indie World Showcase Airing Tomorrow

Nintendo announced today that a new Indie World Showcase will be airing tomorrow, December 10th, at 10am PT / 1pm ET.

The presentation is expected to be approximately 20 minutes long and will show off upcoming indie games for Nintendo Switch. The presentation can be watched on YouTube or on Nintendo's website.

Remaster of Princess Maker 3 Makes Its Way to Switch

Make a young girl's dream come true, brought to you by the studio behind Evangelion.

A classic PC sim game is making its debut on Switch.

Publisher CFK announced today that PRINCESS MAKER -FAERY TALES COME TRUE- will be releasing on Nintendo Switch this December. This HD remaster of Princess Maker 3 will release on the Japanese eShop on December 19 and on the American and European eShops on December 23rd. The game will feature updated artwork and a rearranged score.

North American My Nintendo Adds Switch Online Trial To Platinum Coin Rewards Mobi

An unexpected reward has cropped up on My Nintendo in North America.

A seven day trial for Switch Online can be picked up from the My Nintendo shop for 100 Platinum (free for logging in, etc) coins. Currently, the offer is good until January 31, and cannot be used for existing NSO members.

Nintendo announced today that six new games will be joining the lineup of classic Nintendo and Super Nintendo games available through their online subscription service. The new games will launch on December 12th and will be the first new games added to the service since SNES games launched back in September.

NIS America is bringing a recent hit RPG franchise to Nintendo platforms for the first time.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will release on Switch in North America and Europe in spring of 2020, along with a limited edition. No Japanese release date has been announced.

Some familiar game elements are being added, including one very special sword.

It had been radio silence for almost six months, but Super Mario Maker 2 is finally getting a sizable content drop. In a video uploaded early this morning by Nintendo UK, it was revealed that Spike, Pokey, Frozen Coins, P Blocks, Dash Blocks, and the Master Sword are all coming to Super Mario Maker 2 on December 5.

The long-anticipated Just Shapes and Beats "Just Shovels and Knights" update will be available on December 4. In addition to adding four new stages - one for Shovel Knight and each of the playable bosses in the expansions - the Shovel Knight stage will feature a brand new boss.

The original trilogy of Devil May Cry games will finish next February.

Capcom have announced the release of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition for Switch on February 20. Originally released in 2005, the third game in the action series is a prequel to the original that released on Switch last year.

After making an anthill, Thunderful has announced their next Switch project which will probably have a negative reaction.

Thunderful will publish German firm Studio Fizbin's Say No! More in 2020. A single player adventure game, Say No! More features a created avatar trying to survive by saying "No" in a world in which turning things down is a lost art.

The pinnacle of weapon combat is coming to Switch a little later than planned, but it is bringing some nice surprises.

A new trailer for Samurai Shodown has confirmed a delay for the Western release of the game: originally slated for a 2019 launch, it will now release in Q1 of 2020. The Japanese version will release in December.
