Nintendo’s annual developer “roundtable”, featuring Shigeru Miyamoto, revealed a new Zelda project and contained new details on a number of upcoming games.
Nintendo usually trots out Shigeru Miyamoto and one or two other developers for a large media presentation on the first evening of E3, but it was just Miyamoto himself this year. NOA’s Tim O’Leary of the Treehouse handled translation throughout the event.

A new Warioware and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong focus on user generated content.
Today at the Nintendo press conference Nintendo revealed two new DS titles, WarioWare D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) for a retail release, and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again for DSiWare.
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again will be the third installment in the Mario Vs. Donkey Kong series. The familiar puzzle-solving elements that comprised the previous titles in the series will return with all new challenges and brain twisters.

Atlus will bring the critically acclaimed Mystery Dungeon game to North America.
Today, Atlus announced that they have secured the North American rights to publish Shiren The Wanderer for Wii.
In Shiren the Wanderer, you play as Shiren, a vagabond who travels with his companion Koppa, a talking ferret. Players navigate through randomly-generated dungeons and areas. The game features intense boss battles, item customization, and a cast of interesting characters.

New characters and online play will highlight the game's American debut later this year.
Capcom has announced that the American version of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom will not only feature five brand new exclusive characters, but that it will also feature online play that allows for worldwide matches. The game's online mode will feature friend, rival, free, and ranked battles, with match-ups that extend beyond friendlists. Players can also earn points and titles for other players to see.

Miyamoto and company are working hard on the new Legend of Zelda, and it might be Wii MotionPlus compatible.
At the Shigeru Miyamoto roundtable tonight, it was revealed that an all-new entry in the Zelda series is in development. One piece of concept art was shown displaying Link and what was possibly a Zora.

Nintendo will be offering trailers and footage from E3 on the Nintendo Channel. Many fans have used the channel in the past to watch videos of the latest Nintendo releases.

Nintendo’s annual E3 press conference took place in Club Nokia (with overflow simulcast in the nearby Nokia Theater), right next to the Los Angeles Convention Center. This poor venue had no wireless internet access and poor phone service, but we took notes and are happy to now summarize the event for you.

Mega-sequel is on its way.
Today's Nintendo Press Conference revealed that a sequel to Super Mario Galaxy is on the way. Mario Galaxy 2 will feature Yoshi as a playable character, and he will be able to be inflated in order to access new areas. Footage shown at the press conference was graphically stunning. Nintendo's teleprompter labeled the video as "Beyond Galaxy," so the name may not be finalized. Look for more information as it becomes available.

Announced yesterday at Ubisoft's press conference, Style Lab is a new video game brand targeted specifically for the tween girl market in North America. The Style Lab games are specifically designed to take full advantage of the DSi's camera and web capabilities. The company announced that it will publish the anticipated sequel in North America.
Due to the success of the first No More Heroes title, Ubisoft has confirmed that they will bring the sequel to North America.
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle centers on Travis Touchdown, who yet again is at the bottom of the United Assassins Association, and his goal is to reclaim the number one assassin ranking. This time around Travis can dual wield beam swords and fight more than one boss simultaneously.

At Ubisoft's E3 press conference, they revealed that Red Steel 2 will be bundled with the required peripheral.
After Red Steel 2 was shown off at Ubisoft's E3 press conference today it was revealed that the upcoming game will be bundled with Wii MotionPlus.
Wii MotionPlus is required to play the first person shooter, which features a combination of sword and gun combat. No price has been mentioned for the bundle.

Today during the Ubisoft Press Conference the company revealed its new fitness game, Your Shape, as well as its new motion sensing camera.

At EA's E3 2009 Media Briefing Peter Moore, President of EA Sports, announced that EA Sports Active has sold 600,000 copies to date. The fitness game has sold 300,000 copies in each of the two weeks since it released.

Update: Even more new information revealed in press release. At this morning's Microsoft E3 press conference, some songs were confirmed and downloadable content was announced.
At Microsoft's E3 press conference, The Beatles: Rock Band, which is also coming to Wii, was featured and more information about the game was revealed including songs and downloadable content.
While none of this is confirmed for Wii yet, the downloadable content will include full albums such as Abbey Road, which will be available shortly after launch.

LucasArts and Telltale team up to create five new Monkey Island episodes on WiiWare.
Today, LucasArts announced that they plan to revive the classic Monkey Island franchise with the Tales of Monkey Island for WiiWare. Developed by Telltale games, the series will be released through five monthly episodes starting in July.
