The Game Boy Advance classic hits the North American eShop this week.
Nintendo has listed Wario Land 4 for release on the Wii U Virtual Console, and its release date is tomorrow, May 8, in North America.

Pokémon fans will be returning to Hoenn.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire will be coming to Nintendo 3DS worldwide this November.
The teaser trailer revealing this information mentions that these games will have an, "Epic New Adventure." It also mentions players will be able to explore a, "Dramatic New World." While it is a sure thing that these games will allow players to return to Hoenn, it's likely, though unconfirmed, to be a new take on the old region.

Is this game Pokémon X Tekken?
Nintendo has registered the trademarks Pokkén Fighters and Pokkén Tournament in Europe.
Last year the trademarks were registered in North America, alongside a video from the Tokyo Game Show giving us a glimpse of what appeared to be a Wii U Pokémon fighting game at the end. The one shot of this game showed a Mega Blaziken and a Mega Lucario facing off in a city.

New features are coming sometime in May.
A variety of new features and content will be coming to Steel Diver: Sub Wars by the end of May, game director Takaya Imamura has announced via Miiverse.
The development team is referring to the future update as "Version 2.0." There are several tweaks planned, including basic fine-tuning of the submarines' stats and the addition of a new multiplayer stage.

It's a secret, though.
Nintendo of America and Creative Integrated Systems Inc. have recently settled on a $7 million lawsuit.
Creative sued Nintendo, claiming that Nintendo had infringed their read-only memory chip patent, which was filed in 1990. Over 15 years, Creative felt that Nintendo owed at least a 2 percent royalty per chip for damages of $7 million.

Developer Renegade Kid “discussing other options.”
Renegade Kid’s ambitious crowdfunding initiative for first-person survival horror game, Cult County, has ended unsuccessfully.
The developer was asking for $580,000 via Kickstarter to fund multiplatform development for the title, including planned releases for Wii U and 3DS. At campaign’s end, pledges totaled a mere $46,736, less than 10% of what was needed.

A flurry of rumors has prompted a response from the company.
Nintendo has confirmed that no new hardware announcement is planned for E3 this year. The company has reiterated this position to multiple news sites who had reported on rumors that the unveiling of a new console or console iteration would happen at this year’s event.
A combination of factors led to these rumors gaining traction across the internet over the past several days.

The Wii U exclusive, Twisted Fusion, was successfully funded and then some via Kickstarter.
Though the Kickstarter campaign resulted in over 130% of the £3,000 goal, PayPal payments are still being accepted. Donations of £7, £30, and £50 will continue to earn backers the original Kickstarter rewards.

Let there be sound.
The European version of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams has been patched to add sound to the game's off-TV play.
Black Forest Games stated that the patch was also submitted the to Nintendo of America at the same time, but is unfortunately still in QA.

The WiiWare launch title is no longer stranded in last gen.
LostWinds, a launch title for the WiiWare service in Western territories, can now be transferred to the Wii U.
An update allowing the transfer was issued only last week, despite LostWinds’ long-known status as the most prominent digital-only Wii game players have been unable to transfer to Wii U since the system’s 2012 launch. Even then, a fix was reported to be in the works.

May's first drop of releases is crammed with a slew of this and that. Mario Golf: World Tour and Kirby: Triple Deluxe are the headliners. However's there's plenty of good smaller titles as well. Mega Man Xtreme is available now, with more to come each week.
Release dates are now available for a selection of Mega Man titles coming to the 3DS Virtual Console this month.
Capcom calls this month Mega May, and it starts today with the eShop release of Mega Man Xtreme. Originally a Game Boy Color game, Xtreme was a 2001 spinoff of the SNES classic Mega Man X series.

New Door tool opens up a world of possibilities.
Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will introduce a Door tool for the Toy Box that will allow players to enter the structures they've built.
The new tool can be used on top of an existing structure and, once inside, players can customize the interior with new items such as Marvel-themed furniture. This new feature serves as a home base in the game, where players can display achievements they've earned and show off their unique style.

The Marvel heroes proved too big and powerful for the Wii and 3DS to contain.
While Disney Infinity came to Wii and 3DS last year, the Disney Infinity 2.0 platform, kicking off with Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, is not. The reasoning is simple, Disney and the team at Avalanche Software focused on the platforms that were best able to help deliver on their vision for Disney Infinity 2.0.
