I'm not as interested in oatmeal as I once was.

Discuss.

I have vague memories of oatmeal, eating it early before going to Elementary school.  I wouldn't say they're fond memories, but they aren't bad ones either.  Oatmeal is neutral like that.

I like the oatmeal that has the dinosaur eggs that hatch after you pour the hot water in it. Maybe dinosaurs will jump start your love for oatmeal

I had some decent porridge the other day. I thought I was really hungry and had this guy make me a big bowl of it in exchange for me getting some milk, then after a few spoonfulls, I couldn't eat anymore. Pity, it was quite nice. So now I figure next time I have to spend a few days without food, I'll get this guy to make me some porridge, and I'll live a few non-hungry days on a tablespoon or two. Pretty clever, huh?

Oh, porridge can be pretty interesting if you mix the sugar in it and watch the fractals form. They're a lot clearer than the ones in corn flakes or coca pops.

I don't understand those instant porridge mixture thingies. Isn't porridge easy enough to make anyway?

I got free Uncle Toby's Porridge at the train station once, it came in a bag. Apparently it was 'Quick 'N' Easy'. But with the lack of milk on the train, it was not. I was absolutely crushed.

If anybody here still likes oatmeal, then they work for Quaker Oats.  And are also communists.
