Those designs suck.  They're far too generic for any real gamer to associate with.  No one wants a shirt that says "Fighter" with an arrow sequence underneath.  They want something that directly ties in with a known game.

I'm not too pleased with the IGN suggestion that gamers are fat.

Yeah, some of us are pale and unhealthily thin.
Not me, of course.  I'm excellently built and quite attractive.  But that's beside the point, because I'm not going to be buying any of that anyway.
Walking billboard, yes.  That's part of the point.  Secondly, I want people to know I'm a Nintendo fan, not a game fan.  N Loyalist might do it, but I doubt Blue Palm or whatever got any rights for that (thus the N rather than Nintendo).  And even if they did, there are better Nintendo shirts to buy.  If I wanted to, which I don't, because I spend enough damn money on the games.
So basically no.

I doubt the person who designed this crap... i mean apparel has ever played a videogame before.  "FIGHTER" with a few arrow keys plastered underneath the lettering?  "FPS"?  This has got to be some of the most generic, uninspired design I've seen in a while.  It looks like someone design student's first project rather than something worthwhile. I wouldn't be caught dead in any of it.

I agree with Ian, the designs are far too generic, and just plain boring. I'll stick to Gameskins and Hot Topic for my gamer apparel.

That's an awesome idea Bill.  We should design one and then make it ourselves. ^_^  (which is a real possibility, since it's not that hard.)

Why work for rupees when they're easy enough to find in scattered pots and tall grass?

Pah, Link has never had a problem with stealing. I mean, I'll bet some poor little child had his hopes and dreams shattered when he found his precious Master Sword was missing from its pedestal. And who do you think FILLS all those treasure chests? Link is TEH THEEF!

Ha, I remember once in OoT, I was like 8 or something at the time (Remeber that!) I had tried to give some nice lady a fish from my bottle but she just stood there so I kept getting more and more fish until my dad told me she was never going to eat the fish. I was so upset. Poor old lady

Those clothes just aren't my style.

Nice idea though, Bill. I would wear something like that.

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHAAHHA! I just noticed that quote. I'ma get a screenshot of that too so I have double the proof that mouse ACTUALLY said that.

And as for video game shirts, I have seen an increasing number of Mario themed Tees and I DON'T know where people are buying them! It makes me angry! I saw someone in a green tshirt with a 1up shroom on it and then the other day when I was taking the ACT, someone was wearing an orange shirt with a goomba and it said something like "you are dead."

EDIT: The promised screenshot. Sorry that it is a PDF, that's just how Macs take screens.

Eh, you do realize, Berny, that I agreed with Ian on almost everything up until recently? I'm not sure what caused the change, but you can find posts of mine where I say I find myself agreeing with Ian more than anyone else on the board.

MC either completely agrees with me or completely disagrees with me.  There's never any middle ground.

If you find a situation where one of us says "I agree with you to a point" then it's worth taking a screen print.

Bah, I laught at that site. Fighter one definatly is a joke. I also laughed at the 1-up. Usually in games, a Square Box with a little Health Cross in the middle gives me more HP, and not a whole new life. Anywho, I went to Kohl's a couple months ago and bought myself some Nintendo shirts. One is blue that has Mario Small and has a Add Sign next to a mushroom and then it equals big mario. I also have one of a NES Controller and under it says "Keep it Real". Then I also bought another that has the NES Platform and qouted "Old School". There were a lot when I went there to choice from, but Im pretty tall and a lot didnt have my size. =/ Made me sad. The company that made the shirts I bought was "Delta Pro Weight". I also like Bill's idea of a T-Shirt. There wouldn't be a lot of Tees that could top that off, though Im a hoody type of person. With all these new Nintendo Commercials of "Who are you?", Im surpised some other company didnt take and sell it. I dont know if I would buy, becuase it can go either way.. good or bad.
I'm aggresive, and I'm the rarest of the rare! Fear me Now! For I am....
