Skies of Arcadia is out? Cool, i might rent it if my videostore has it.

Hmm, the only really bad cut i can remember getting was a few days ago, it still hurts. I told my brother to pass me the scissors, so he f*ing threw them towards me and they cut across my left cheek. I was playing GBA SP so i wasnt paying attention, and he THREW the damn scissors to me. Bloody hell, it left a cut about 5 cm by 3 cm big on my face, i just took the bandage off a few hours ago. Argh it still hurts!

ive spent the whole weekend being an air pirate

i URGE you all to go get Skies of Arcadia! its definatly awsome, sega just shot right up in my favorite developer ranks, i feel sad that i missed out on alot of great sega gameing, so now im going to buy all sega consoles off ebay ^_^. Skies has ALOT of class, im only 10 hours into it but it feels very epic, and a good example to bashers that say nintendo has no mature titles, there isn't any graphic violence persay, but the theme and what some of the characters say lends it a deep mature theme (god i hate that word)

The Futuramam episode was okay.  I liked how they pronounced Nintendo as Nintendu.

Skies of Arcadia is out already?  Holy crap.  Ever since I bought a second-hand Dreamcast a year ago, I've been wanting to play the game bad.  I never found the DC version in shops, (could have got it off ebay), but I decided to wait for the GC version.  I don't want to buy the game now.  I need to study for my exams and the last thing I need is a new game to distract me.

Hell, I want to finish Ocarina of Time, then play Grandia (I need my Grandia battle system fix!  I'm going crazy and need more it.) and finish Super Monkey Ball 2, and finally get around to playing The Wind Waker.  And there's Warioware.   I hope there won't be a shortage of supplies in Australia, or it will be *HULK SMASH*.  Maybe I'll get Skies, and get my Mom to hide it from me.  Yeah, that's the idea!

I've got a lot of games to play in the holidays.  5 and half weeks that is.

And I thought I might mention that last Thursday, I watched Princess Mononoke for the second time.  Second. Best. Movie. Evar.

When was Skies released?  Would Target or Kmart have it?  Asking because I can get a shareholder discount.

Well, I guess I'm gonna go out first thing tomorrow morning and hunt for this game.  I really don't wanna get it from EB if the box has a big sticker on the corner.  Do most of the games they sell have the sticker on the box?

Really?  I didn't know they peel off easily.  Thanks.

I would like to work for EB too.  Although my EB don't have any young staffs.  They are adults in their late 20s and 30s.  But they are okay (there's a cute chick working there too).  They never mock me for owning a GC.  Hell, they surprised me last week when they rang regarding Super Monkey Ball 2.  The game came out in March!

Ah, I'd nearly forgot about SoA. *slaps self*

But I can't. Between Burnout 2 and SoA, and exams, I won't get any study done. So it'll have to wait for a couple of weeks.
But then it's four weeks off! Word. Party time!!!

AiAi: Yeah, I've tried getting work at multiple EBs. No luck yet. But they all know me there. Three of them are former school-mates, but I've had no luck because of my Uni schedule. I should go and try again, because I'm sick of the token work I'm getting at Big W. *shakes fist*

Termin8: Nice work with the scraper. The most embarrasing thing I did involved one of those "Break Glass in case of Fire" thingos. Nuff said. Didn't hurt, but I made a total fool out of myself. And the fire brigade DID show up. That'd be right.

And a group of us are planning to invade the Uni in animal suits! Lectures and all.
*Prepare to add another tick to the "Number of Stupid Things Done By Shifty" Wall (It's so long it's comparable to that wall in China)

Dude, get Skies, and then get someone to hide the game until your exams are over.  That's what I'm gonna do.  That's what I did last year with Shenmue II, although I did keep it in my room.  OMG, my two weeks with Shenmue II was awesome.  *sniff* I've gotta play it again.  Missed some of the side quests.

And I thought of getting Burnout 2, but I don't have the time to play it.  I'll give it a rent.  My local Blockbuster should get it.  Because they give out GameCube LOVE!  I should point out my Blockbuster has I shelf devoted to GC (no complain from me), 2 shelves to Xbawx and a whopping 7 shelves to PS2.  No kidding!  There must be a lot of gamers in my area.

Holy crap. I just missed out on all this posting action, all because of my stoopid assignemnt! ARRGH! My friend brought over Burnout 2 on his PS2 last night. Cool game. But then F-Zero comes out in like, 4 months, so yeah.

I've got an exam wednesday, then four assignments due on the 10th. Blarg. One assignment just simply requires me to rewrite a famous novel or movie - in 1500 words. That's a lot, but not much considering Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf and Boromir have to travel from The Shire to the border of Mordor. Damn. That's gonna take skill to write all that.
Or maybe I can just rewrite Star Wars.
Or Goosebumps.
Or Paul Jennings.
Or Grug.

After that, it's a whopping 7 weeks of pure dole-bludging! Yeah baby! And a snowboarding trip in mid July!
I have to get around to learning drums as well. They've been sitting there for a year.

... Grug?

For some reason that reminds me of that old ABC show "Trap Door"
OOOOOOH BONEY!

I forgot to write a tale of my worst injury! Eegads! If you will, cast your minds back... to umm... when I was like, seven.
*Screen goes all fuzzy*

There I was, being an idiot in kid form in the backyard, I see my Dad has left the axe out from chopping up palm leaves so they could be jammed into the bin (No, seriously)

AW I CAN HAVE A GO! My brain proclaims to my body, and wee! Before you know it, I'm chopping sh*t up. Next minute, BAM!

I've chopped right into my leg. Blood bursts out, and I have a demented cry. I run into the house, screaming, complete with cool little jets of blood squirting out.
I'm rushed to the Hospital, and had to get a whole butt load of stitches. Bloody well killed, it did.

Left blood all over the bit where I was waiting in the waiting room though. THAT WAS MY REVENGE!

... I.. Guess.

Oh yeah, I've also scrapped the sh*t out of my back before. This was about when I was... five. I think. It was in the house before the house with the palm trees (both in QLD) if that makes sense.

Anyway, this place was in the MIDDLE OF NO-WHERE. I hated it, took half an hour to drive into town, THERE WAS NO GAMES SHOP IN TOWN. Had to travel an hour and a half to get to a Toyworld to buy my NES games back then -___________-

Anyway, had to make alot of my own stupid fun. Was lucky enough to have a family move in next door that year (which was a 15 minute walk away), they had three boys around my age (and a Mega Drive, Master System and Atari 7800 ^^)

We decided it would be an awesome idea to get our skateboards and bikes, and just basically fall down this VERY steep hill. OMG ENTERTAINMENT! LETS GO!

I went first, on my trusty skateboard. No helmet. THEY'RE FOR WIMPS!
Weee! I roll off and tumble down the road, most of the time is spent on my back, along rocks, gravel and a very very very hot road.

Despite them seeing me fall down in utter pain, they continued on their bikes.

... Let's just say, they never rode on them again. Although none suffered the injuries like me. I'd scrapped away alot of the skin from my back. I couldn't lay down, sit down for weeks. Had to sleep on my gut, and even then, I'd wake up screaming in the night from when I'd rolled over.

So, the moral of this story, is...

.....

...............
Don't live in the middle of no-where?

Ahahaha, now I remember Grug!
Visual aids go a long way =)

And yep, I lived in QLD till I was about 13 or something *shrugs shoulders*
It was during the first year of High School, and it f*cked me up somewhat. For you see, in QLD, Primary school lasts till year 7. High school begins in year 8. It was strange coming here, going to this new high school, and finding out the first year is year 7 in NSW....

What makes things EVEN more odd, is that I was born in this very town I live in now, stinky Blacktown. Moved to QLD when I was two, and.. We.. Moved back here =/

Why? Because my parents are stupid idiots. That's my explaination =P

And I too now have a new avatar, Donkey Kong from Futurama! Weee!

VERY nice! $100 for a GBA Player? That's extremely good in my books! Finally, Metroid Fusion will be taken out of it's little plastic wrapping in the box =)

And I do hope NintendoAus advertise this pack! The GBA is one of the most successful consoles EVER in Australia, think of all the casual gamers who would be interested in playing their GBA games on the TV!
