Anyways, do any of you guys know when Nba Street 2 comes out here on Gamecube? Im planning on getting it because i loved the first one so much, arcade basketball at its finest

They should also include magic shoes with each copy. Then we can all go "Make me like Mike" and they'll do nothing at all, but we'll think they did something, so we'll try and eat a cup cake, and it'll go "aw naw, don't eat me!"

So then you have to put it down and go "pffft, damn foo'! I'm Mike!" then stand on it with the magic shoes and go "Mmm, num num num"

It'll have a cry and moosh up real good like. Then you can throw it at a wall and it'll knock the wall down, revealing a hidden room with treasures and Toad.
Toad will ask you to pick a treasure out of any of the three magic boxes. He'll do it without moving his lips. This is when you take off one magic shoe, and hurl it at him.

If you hit him right, his head will fall clean off, and blood will explode out like some kind of exploding fountain. Quickly! Pick up all three trasure chests with your power glove before the room fills up with blood and brain fluid!
Once your back outside basking under the rays of the big fat Sun with a happy face, open the chests to discover your treasures. They may only be bits of rancid meat.

If so, go to a question mark block and go "AY!"
It'll go "eh?" because it's playing silly buggers. Hit it from below to kill it. The meat will then implode and spin in circles while singing a song about the state of gaming in outer space.

Then, a coin will appear. Woo, now you can go buy a Super Scope from the Princess for some reason. She'll attempt to have sex with you when you see her.

"AW GIVE ME LOTS OF KISS!" she'll scream.

"NO, YOU SMELL!"
So you gotta throw a spear at her and get her to come over here. She really will come over there though, makes an awful mess.
Then, after playing a game of Twister, she'll give you the Super Scope.

Take it EA Big's development studio in Canada, and go "I'm from Canada, I'm a little slow ey?"

They'll nod their heads and clap their hands. Then give you a copy of Shox and go "I like teh pie"

That's when you go back home and put your feet up on the couch, and break out the dairy milk chocolate. Ready for an exciting night of adverts on TV.

So yeah, that's how you get rid of worms.

Yay, that's a killer story Infernal. Any story involving Canada, Twister, Peach and magic shoes gets my thumbs up.

Just got the new Frenzal Rhomb album. Man that is some funny stuff! Hippie Song, Ball Chef and White World are the best ones, but they're all good.

Kidding aside, yeah, I agree with you about monkey baseball. I also don't like the fact that you can hit a lot of homeruns. This will come as a surprise to you all, but I've barely touched SMB2 over the last couple weeks. Just not as good as the first game. Doesn't have the same charm and monkey love!

Oh, and there's one thing that I forgot to mention. The Nintendo rep said that games already released in America are not allowed to be more than two months behind, or something bad happens in the way of lawsuits - or maybe something less drastic than that, I forget.

Woah, making love on a GameCube would SERIOUSLY cause pain. All those hard edges, the handle, the ejecting lid. WHAT IF YOU GET SOMETHING CAUGHT AS THE LID CLOSES!? EEK!

And about that 2 month thing, it'll be interesting with Final Fantasy: CC
Square took over six months when it came to the PAL conversion of FFX on PS2....

... And seven years with FF3/FF6!
Since.. ya know.. we never got a local release on SNES, ... just.. PSone.. Last year... =P

Well actually Wind Waker comes out on the 9th and E3 starts on the 12th, so thats three days

But its not like im going to be anywhere near my computer when Wind Waker is sitting in my Gamecube anyway, so yay!

Erm... Nintendo is publishing FF:CC so it should come here pretty quickly, hopefully. And isnt it funny how Square conviently delayed FFX to launch on the same day as GameCube. ROGUE LEADER COULD HAVE BEEN NUMBER ONE GODDAMNIT!!!!

Anyhoo, tomorow hopefully im gonna get NBA Street 2, according to Nintendo Australia's website it comes out tomorow. And hopefully they will have Sonic Mega Collection and im gonna get that too. Bah i need more money! Wind Waker, Skies, Ikaruga, Yoshis Island, Wario Ware want!

Uh-oh, spagetio's! Some of you aren't going to like this. Apparently the zelda bonus disk "only" supports 60hz. You NEED a 60hz tv to be able to play the bonus disk! Not a problem for me, but i know its gonna piss some people off.

yeah so, i traded in my zeldas today. i have no regrets. before i know it i will have oot back at home where she belongs in higher resolution . and if i want to, i can buy mm on ebay.

i watched my brother try to finish eternal darkness about 6 times tonight. i even had a go, but neither of us did it. man it sucks having to watch those cut scenes and fmv's over and over again. you should be able to skip them after youve seen them once.

actually joey, you CAN skip cutscenes in ED if you've alreadt seen them. Just press start. Easy. You have to wait like 2-4 seconds before you can though.

Hmmm, I dunno if my TV can support 60Hz. Are all new TVs capable of supporting it, cause We just bought our TV like last year.

I'm not sure about that "only" 60Hz thing. Sure, it shows it on the box, and my knowledge of non-English ain't good, but it just seems stupid that they'd do that.

What does "nur" mean in German? Only. Alright, I've been proven wrong. Now that definitely is stupid, but think of it as an uber-OoT and Master Quest. Mmm, smooth!

Termin8: Your TV should be fine. There's no sure way to check unless you bootup a game that you have that has a 60Hz mode (eg Smash Bros or Burnout are two that I have). I think you hold down B during startup, and you get a screen that asks you if you want 60Hz mode on. If you lose colour, then it can't handle it. 60Hz has a better refresh rate (more images each second) and so the picture is smoother.

Finally reserved a copy of Zelda today. Traded in Mat Hoffman and Kelly Slater, paid the remaining $49.95, treated the docket like a new born baby..

So yeah, basically, I got Zelda for $89.95, since Mat Hoffman and Kelly Slater were $19.95 each. Weee! I'm cheap!

And saw the funkiest thing in Toys R Us today, the Atari 2600 is BACK! Crazy stuff. $59.95, you get a new model 2600 (which is just the classic joystick, no unit!) and a whole bunch of classic games built in. I NEED IT. My collection won't be complete without this new toy.

But $59.95? Pfft, it has to wait.

Anyhoo, went to burwood again today, only to come back empty handed, AGAIN! Stupid shops and thier crappy games, argh! I cant find Sonic Mega Collection ANYWHERE! I was gonna get NBA Street 2 but i was a day too early, bah! -__-

Oh, and WTF is up with the broken GC in Target? One of the controllers looks like it's been torn apart by monkeys! And it has those fuzzy dots on the screen. I smell CORRUPTION! *looks at Bill Gates somehow*

I deleted ALL my Super Monkey Ball 2 INFORMATION last night! ARRRGH! I was up to world 8 - the pistons and the vortex are hard (and i dunno why it says really hard, but that gravity one is easy.), and now i have to start all over again! I also unlocked all the new party games, now i have to do it all again! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
It was an accident! I was deleting all my replays from the Memeory card, and I accidently deleted the game file as well! DAMN ME!

The Grace Bros. near me doesn't even bother with the demo unit, it's still got the Mario Party 4 demo running, it freezes all the time, and the left control stick on the first pad is gone. Yep. GONE. Eaten by some stinky kid or something.

EDIT: Termin8, that seriously sucks man. Arg, that'd make me wanna throw something. Throw it good!

But it sucks. Is there supposed to be some flickering on the sides of the screen? And the top and bottom don't even fit on the TV! Everyone is taller!

I'm so pissed about Super Monkey Ball 2, and no, Mario, I won't sell it to you yet. I still wanna complete the game. Now that I'm up to (or was up to) World 8, I think I can actually finish the game.

What world and level are ya up to Joey?

Haha. I might not buy it this year. I'll just come over your house and watch it. A four disc set is cool, but how much is that gonna be seriously!

And I thought Next Gen is gone! Wasn't their last issue in January? What are they doing still here?
I though the was the DVD for last year was pretty well done. But the footage quality just SUCKED compared to E3 2001's DVD. The direct feed footage was blurry and after watching it, your eyes would be blurry for like ages, whereas in the E3 2001 DVD, the direct feed footage WAS direct feed footage, as it was meant to be seen on a TV.
There's no good games that I can say I like the videos for on the E3 2002 DVD. Sure there was Zelda ansd stuff, but the vids sucked.
On the 2001 DVD, my faves are Final Fantasy X, Super Smash Bros Melee, and the Raven Blade footage ROCKED!

EDIT: And shouldn't the cover say 2K3? It's not E3 2004 just yet!
