Today I was at Gamestop where the manager told me that his Nintendo rep says a few online games are about to be revealed.

Please don't flame me. I know there was a big arguement about online gaming in another thread. I'm just passing on what I was told and am wondering if there's any truth to it.

If Nintendo are about to reveal some online games, Starfox 2, Mario Tennis and Geist would be my guesses, although a Gamestop employee isn't exactly the most reliable source in the world.. hmmmmm..

Hey, I jut thought! They could be reviving Earthbound 2 (or Mother 3)!!! The game was alreafy half finished when they abandoned it, so they could be updating it and finishing it for a 2005 release... a longshot, but it could happen.

I thought Earthbound and the never-released-out-of-japan mother 1 were coming to GBA. I never knew the sequal was also in development for the GBA.

Yeah, Mother 1 & 2 has been out in Japan for a while...and still no U.S. release...

Japan is the land of the rising sun, because it is on the cutoff of the meridian line. Then if you cross over, you'll travel back a day in time to hawaii.

Australasia is closer to the cut-off line than Japan. Japan is 3 hours behind New Zealand, Samoa and Hawaii ar 23 hours later. For clarity: Japan is 1 hour behind Sydney, 1/2 an hour behind Adelade, an hour ahead of Perth, 8 hours ahead of Germany, and 14-17 hours ahead of most of North America. This is without daylight savings, which I think is in effect in Australia and Japan right now, I can't be sure though.

akdaman: I'm German. However, the difference between Australia and Japan is not that much so time shifting might account for a few hours, so it's the same number of days in Japan and Australia (your post suggested a 12 hour+ difference).
