i would say MARIO 128 because the game has supposdleyt been in devolnemt from be4 SMS or smoething.

tOO Human - no way its gonna end up on n5
mario tennis- nah i dont think nintendo will call a confrence just to show it off
game zero- i also think it might be this game but hell no proff if its in excistence
zelda realistic- MAYBE by capcom . nintendo have to much on thier hands for this,

word is news on the n5 and mario 128. i sorta think its true. www.gamecubeland.com have an article about what they think it is. i know poeple dont like reading rumors but then dont take it seriously

I would put my money on N5. Mario 128'll be in the announcement to...for the N5. Great new Ninty system, great new Mario game; smells like...HAPPINESS! No wait that's chocolate I smell. I always get those confused.

If it was a portable gamecube with backward capabitlity, that would be one of the smartest moves Nintendo have ever made. Think about it, Nintendo already has many companies wiht dev kits, making games as we speak. Even more companies would jump the ship if a handheld that played GC games came out. Every third party company would want to develope for Nintendo, becuase not only will they have there software available on the gc but on the pgc. People love handheld gaming, but its not entirely mainstream and as popular as it could be becuase of graphics and such. Nintendo would do away with that barrier.

Now combine that with great advertisement (every needs to some how find out there is a product like this...everyone) and some way to play multiplayer games(wireless would rule) and there you go the hotest game system around. They could charge $150 for it and people wouldn't mind........hell I wouldn't.

I'm getting ahead of myself. I remember that Cap, and I also remember some press conference when the gamecube was finally fully unvieled, some news reporter asked if the disks due to there small size are going to be used in any future Nintendo handhelds. Nintendo said maybe then quickly changed the subject. (paraphrased obviously)

i still think it can, and will be done. if it is going to happen though, i would expect a fall 2005 launch.

anyways, the announcement is probably just a new reincarnation of an old franchise, or a sequal to a recent franchise. a brand new game would be nice, but i dont see that happening(although maybe we'll get to see game zero). nintendo will probably wait till e3 to make any of the big hardware announcements.

there is no new prodcut.....well i am sure there is, but nintendo CAN NOT announce it now. it will screw with their great sales right now. if there is any announcement, it will be made at e3.

well even if there is an anouncement, it may be a software one instead of hardware. if it is hardware, then ninendo is just stupid. and since they arent, i can guarentee its not a new hardware announcement concerning the next generation console or handheld. maybe its a new controller, some new innovation, or like i said, a game. the announcement for their next console couldnt come at a worse time. it makes absolutely no sense. they would just be shooting themselves in the foot.

I'm not getting excited about anything anymore. After the megaletdown or meganone as some of us call it I may never feel emotion about gaming again. But seriously if Nintendo did ever loosen its lips about some news other than E cards and Konga games then maybe I'll put my "oops I craped my pants" adult diapers back on. So untill the megapun comes for real, I'm gonna be suspicious of rumors.

HEY whats wrong with konga? nintendo wanted a music game on thier system and they thought that if they want to get attenntion fomr fans then add a well known license on thier for the sake of it. they did. the put donkey kong. and thats fine wif mya.

Well the week came and went. But I dug this thread up for another reason. There was a recently locked thread that even though it broke out into sillyness there was something said.

About the new mascotts. This supposed announcement that is suppose to be made sometime according to some source (its been so long I forgot it.) But it could be about the new games that Nintendo is cooking up in Tokyo that are suppose to supplement their stable to franchise maybe even taking over for Mario and company.
