Well, let's see, ShyGuy has selected Cyanide before in the very first round. So, there's a chance he could select it again and I should choose that if I want to target him. Of course, Nickmitch has selected Crossbow before as shown by his previous selection. Thus, there's a chance he could select it again and I should choose that if I want to target him. You see, often players will keep choosing the same words over and over like Insanolord selecting Shaymin every time it was an option and Mop it up choosing the word Bomb every time it was an option right up to her demise.
However, both candidates may realize that selecting the same word again could make them a target. Thus, they may gravitate to the third unused choice of Gun. If the first person to guess Gun does so and is safe, that leaves the remaining candidate to try and figure out which player I was trying to target with either Cyanide or Crossbow. It's a 50/50 shot but if they get it right, I'm out of the game. Thus, the smart thing to do would be to select Gun since that would seem to be the guaranteed choice that either player would want to select for potential safety. The only problem is that Gun is the middle word so that would seem more likely for the person choosing the bomb word to select it since in a case of Door 1, 2 or 3, people will often choose Door 2 in the middle. The other issue is that no one has been selecting Gun so it would seem to not be an appealing word to players thus meaning there is a higher chance of them selecting either Cyanide or Crossbow.
Moreover, this starts to get into some of John Nash's Game Theory in which both players may realize that Gun would be the word they are both most likely to choose in order to change up their word guess history and avoid the danger of the other player's word choice which means it is also most likely for the Bomb Word chooser to select it based on the idea that the remaining players guessing Safe Words will be scared to guess their previous selections and will be looking to change it up. Therefore, the best course of action is for neither to change from their previous selections and for their word decisions to remain unchanged thereby making them both safe while the Gun choice blows up in the Bomb Word selectors face. The only flaw in that, of course, is that in this case the Bomb Word selector is Khushrenada, who is fully aware of this fact, and therefore knows he could safely select either Cyanide or Crossbow to remove the player of his choice thus neither player can feel safe in selecting one of those words leading to them changing their decisions and walking into Khushrenada's trap.
Therefore, when it comes to the choice of Cyanide, Gun or Crossbow, it is pretty obvious which word I must select.
