Just because I haven't seen it does not mean I am blind to its pop culture impact. I have learned different lines from the film because they've been quoted by others. I believe you linked to a scene where this Vizzini was trying to figure out which cup had poison in it when you were trying to make a decision once. Regardless, I have seen that scene before as well as a couple other clips from the movie. It's like The Godfather. I didn't see that until maybe 8 years ago but I long knew about scenes and parts of the plot from the movie with all the lines and references quoted from the movie in other media. It's because of having all that prior knowledge that I sometimes put off seeing a film like the original Planet of the Apes, which I finally got around to watching a couple years ago, since I think it will be a bit of a bore knowing all the surprises or plot ahead of time compared to a movie in which I know nothing at all about what it will be like or how it will unfold.

In this case, though, I wasn't really trying to imitate that scene although I can see the comparison. I just wanted to make ShyGuy and Nickmitch very nervous with their choices coming up.

So, crossbow is/was the word I chose as the bomb word and ShyGuy is eliminated. That means it is the final round with just myself and Nickmitch still alive. There are also only 2 words left and they are Cyanide and Gun. Murder was eliminated awhile back. Now, when you ask Nickmitch to choose a word, are you asking him to pm you the choice of the final bomb word? That's what I'm thinking since no one else will have chosen one yet. So, it's come to this.

Admittedly, once I knew ShyGuy was a goner with Crossbow, I was thinking of selecting Gun in case I was in this position although I was hoping I'd be able to select the last bomb word instead. Unfortunately, Nickmitch misunderstood Lucario and revealed Cyanide as his first choice. Sure enough, I'd have been correct like I suspected.

The problem now is that stupid error has messed things up. Will Nickmitch have panicked that he revealed his selection and decided to switch his choice to Gun to protect himself or will he have stuck with his original choice of Cyanide like a lot of players have done this game in sticking with their revealed choice after posting their choice publicly be accident? Of course, Nickmitch would be aware that I know that players do that since I brought it up in my post when leading the players down the path to choosing the bomb word I selected of Crossbow. I know Nickmitch wants a victory in this game and he's come close before by making it to a final but finishing second. I just need to determine how serious he is. So serious he'd change his choice to Gun or laidback enough that he'd stick to his first choice of Cyanide and see what happens?

I'll stick with what I was going to select in this situation. If you saved yourself by not understanding Lucario's request and changing your choice from Cyanide, well, then I suppose that is a fitting way to have won this game considering how it has played out.
