I haven't really fought the 4 flagship monsters in this game much aside from Astalos and Mizutsune. Gammoth I think I seen that monster a few times and just attack its feet.

But yeah I should be able to play tonight. Been a few weeks since I have  further up the ranks. Just been doing minor monster quests and various village quests.
Just a bundle of cuteness and fierceness.

My wife made a run to our place and got my 3DS...and grabbed my old 3DS pouch instead of the game case with Generations in it. She said she was making a run again this evening to check on our plants and would get the correct case, so if she did that I can play when I get home. If not I'll be out of luck again.

Is anyone here considering getting the Japanese version of XX? I'm on the verge of picking it up in light of them continuing to be mum on a localization effort.

Would love to wrestle through learning Japanese with some of you fine folks here. I found an English discord so we wouldn't be alone in the efforts.

Absolutely not. I'm already feeling fatigued on this series, so a rehash of a rehash doesn't interest me in the slightest. I still have plenty left to do in the original version of MHGen and at the pace I'm going, MH5 will probably be here when I'm done.

I would love to play a Monster Hunter game on Switch as I think it's a platform I could really get into it on, but that's only going to happen if one comes out in English.

I'm just so fed up with 3DS controls and size. Maybe I'm getting too old, but I want a full size controller with two sticks, and I want to see it on my TV screen, not a tiny screen.

It's gotten bad enough I am thinking of tearing my circle pad pro apart to mod a 2DS or 3DS to give me the controls I want. I can't even seem to enjoy 3DS games that don't need the second stick. I'm just ready for a handheld upgrade.

Looks like my last post is still relevant. I'm still feeling burnt out and will probably sit this one out.

Well, there's always stuff like Minecraft, Splatoon 2, etc...

I was interested in that, but I already have a pile of unplayed RPGs on 3DS as it is... and DS...

I have to look at my money and see if I can get a switch soonish. I am going up to Flagstaff in June for my birthday but after that I may have to save up and I might be able to grab one in August. We shall see what happens.
