Well, my name is Khushrenada and although I'm posting threads, I know what I'm doing. I think the problem is the people replying to them don't know what they are doing.

Well, it didn't help when the Pietriots left and made their own site. The Aussie contingent was a big part of keeping the funhouse wild. Then with the pull of life ot other matters, we've lost others like Bill, Wandering, Vudu. Pixlbit came and pulled the attention of other bigtime contributors. S-U-P-E-R has now vanished. Heck, it's not like you post near as much as you used to Zap. If the veteran posters are going to leave and stop participating and this is what the new blood want to do, so be it.

Plus, many are young. They are posting things they find funny. It's just going to take sometime for that comedic voice to grow. There aren't many stand-up comedians in their teens. I consider it an experimental stage. I believe if more posters can join and participate, it could lead to more fun again but it might be different than what it was before. The key is participation. Anyways, that's all I will say to keep this from getting too serious now. If you want to get my real thoughts on what can be done to improve the community, make a thread for it NWR Feedback.

I was just pointing out to Zap that the reason things change is people have left and so new people are doing different things. There's nothing wrong with that. I don't think everything that was first posted by previous users was always great to but over time, we all formed connections and knew what would get a laugh and had a sort of rhythm where if someone started a joke, others knew how to latch on and play off of it. But most of those people have gone or posted very infrequently. So, I understand that things have changed for those veteran posters. It's changed for me too. But I try not to complain or mold the new users. I will weigh in on their favor if I feel they are not getting a fair shake. For this site and board to continue, new people have to come in to replace the old. But that means change in styles in humor, in topics of interest, in discussion. I choose to adapt but I'm still going to have fun my way.

I think you took that the wrong way but no biggie. Mistakes happen.

I was glad a thread I made got on that short list of examples, and suggested that we should revive a few of those and see which ones stay afloat.
