Story Post. Now with images.

PopStar, a small, peaceful planet at the edge of a vast universe.

And on the planet, it's happy citizens enjoying the beautiful surroundings. On this particular day, Kirby and Gooey were fishing. Birds were singing. The sun was shining. It was such a nice day that they felt more like napping than fishing. Little did they know the adventure that would soon engulf them.

And the cause of that adventure. Dark Matter! A dark source of energy intent on controlling the entire universe under it's dark control. As he flows through the universe, he can feel ray's of intense happiness and peacefulness.

Well no wonder. Kirby caught a fish. Quick, Kirby. Find the Chef ability and fry that sucker up.

If there's one thing Dark Matter hates more than happiness then it's fishing. And with that, he locked his sights on the planet Popstar and raced towards it, intent on stomping this beacon of hope under his black boot of calamity.

DARK MATTER HAS ARRIVED!

It's on!

Announcement Post:

Today's vote is open until Midnight EST. You have until then to cast a vote.

There is no voting requirement but I have included an incentive to vote this game which will be explained in the Items part of the rule section.

All orders for abilities must be sent to myself or Maxi by the voting deadline. With the amount of orders we expect, I'm going to be super strict for once and not allow any after the deadline.

After the vote is closed, there will be 30 minutes given to send in the night hits.

Alright. I finally have the roles all listed and defined. Read at your own risk. In addition, all abilities are now posted with what they do. So, now you can see what you are up against. Hit points are explained. I guess we'll how they play out. It could be a good thing or a total disaster. Guess we'll soon find out.

My apologies to the newer and casual players. You probably weren't expecting to play a game needing a master's degree. My fault for wanting to experiment with the formula a bit but I want to see how things play out. Best advice, just read the rules on how to play and go from there. Once you've got the basics, then start to look into what else is going on with abilities.

As well, Maxi has agreed to help me with hosting this game. So, it will be dual-hosted. Just waiting for him to get mod powers. We'll let you know how we'll be breaking down the workload.

And I will post in this thread as well when there are more updates posted. Now let's get some funny pics posted.

Well, thatguy could have crash, and thus proving himself a townie while being the only one who can cast a vote. But that will make him a target right off the bat, at least by mafia.

Otherwise... I don't know. I don't see an advantage of being mafia and provoking an attack. Unless he really wants out of the game and only joined to get Khush up to his 20 players. But if that's true it would have been better off for him to request a townie role and let someone who wants to play be mafia.

I have just been notified that Khushrenada will be gone for a couple hours but he will be back before the day is over. Also he told me about how players can earn the right to get a chance at the health items. Here is what he said to me.

"In Kirby games, after you get through a level or world, there is often a brief little game where one can try to get an item to replenish ones health. In that same spirit, I'm considering each day like a level/world. So, the players who are in the winning bandwagon, they get a chance at some health replenishing items. It will be similiar to Kirby where some items will be sprinkled behind some numbers and they choose the number they want to pick. They might get something. They might get nothing. That's how I'm going to make that work."

When Khushrenada gets back he will clarify more.

When Khushrenada gets back or sometime when the second day is up I will clarify what we are doing as far as handling the workload this game between the two of us. That is all.
