I'm very happy with it. The Browns made the right choice at #1 and seemed to get good value with their later picks without reaching. DeShone Kizer late in the 2nd is a great spot for him, he's a project but he's got franchise QB potential. The team got a lot better in the last few days and they've got 5 picks in the first 2 rounds next year to take that a step further.

The refs just completely ruined the season opener for Seattle. What an absolute joke.

It was a promising performance today by the Browns even though they ended up losing. A fluky touchdown off a blocked punt early in the game made it look like it was going to be the same old Browns, but Cleveland was the better team the rest of the way, just not quite enough to overcome that. DeShone Kizer, despite some rookie mistakes, looked poised and in control of the offense, executing a couple nice touchdown drives. The Browns defense also had a pretty good day even though they were missing #1 overall pick Myles Garrett.

Refs called illegal block in the back and ejected Jeremy Lane for "throwing a punch" which both announcers and Mike Pereira agreed did not happen. Should have been a pick six and personal foul against Green Bay, but instead the refs called 2 imaginary penalties against Seattle.

Wow and now a no-call pass interference against Green Bay, again, that all the announcers, Pereira, and Dan Blandino agree with. This is pathetic.

If both coaches agree a call is crap, they should be able to eject a ref.

Well, at least the Bears defense did well today...  I cant fault Glennon too much for that last drive, he did his part.  That said, our Offense was non-existent for the first 3 quarters, and that's unacceptable.

Perfect season, baby. The parade is on and the coach that's won 1 of the 32 games he's been here for is jumping in Lake Erie, though unfortunately somehow remaining the coach of the team.

The Bills are going to the playoffs for the first time since I was in high school, for what that's worth.

I didn't start watching the NFL until I was an adult, mid-2000s timeframe, so I've never seen the Bills in the playoffs.  And they're going against Jacksonville which hasn't made the playoffs in 10 years.

My Seahawks missed the playoffs for the first time with Russell Wilson.  We used to have a very reliable kicker in Steven Hauschka and for some reason the Hawks didn't resign him and signed Blair Walsh instead.  Hawks fans knew Walsh in an infamous way - he missed a gimme kick in the playoffs a few years back for the Vikings which allowed the Seahawks to win.  I guess ownership felt they might as well make him an occasionally part of the roster instead of being an inadvertent secret teammate.  I was not cool with this move.  Let's see how this played out.

In the last game of the year the Hawks needed to win their game and hope the Falcons lost in order to make the playoffs.  Why did the Falcons have a tie-breaker over us?  Because earlier in the season we lost to them after Blair Walsh missed a field goal that would have tied the game and forced overtime!  The Falcons ended up winning and it actually didn't matter because we lost that last game... due to Blair Walsh missing a field goal at the end!  AAAAARRRGH!!!!

While there were other issues like 2/3 of the Legion of Boom being injured and the o-line being swiss cheese (again!  How does o-line coach Tom Cable still have a job after like three seasons of this nonsense?) in the end we needed two more games and we lost them both because of our new kicker.  Why didn't they resign Hauschka?  Nobody offers kickers big money.  You can't get outbid on a kicker.  I just looked up his salary for this year.  The Bills are paying him LESS!  We dropped a reliable kicker so he could go to another team for LESS MONEY?!  **** ME!!!

UCLA's Josh Rosen and USC's Sam Darnold declared for the draft tonight, so every major possibility in the 2018 QB class is on the table now. The two of them, as well as Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield, all figure to be possibilities for going #1 overall.

Apparently the Vikings are still alive somehow. If they win the Super Bowl that's great. Either way I get to enjoy watching people who actually are into sports be really pessimistic about the Vikings for another week.

Wentz is injured, so it'd be Nick Foles if the Eagles make it.
