The Browns are 0-6 but there are some positives to take from this season despite that. They're an extremely young team, with rookies and second year guys making up about half the roster, and a lot of those young guys are showing growth. If not for a rash of injuries this team would probably have a couple wins, given how many close games they've been in.
But the big development is Cody Kessler, the third round rookie quarterback. Pressed into service after RG3 and Josh McCown went down, he's shown remarkable poise and performed better than anyone could have hoped under the circumstances. Playing behind a largely terrible offensive line with few proven weapons in the receiving corps, he's still completed about two thirds of his passes and not turned the ball over after his first drive a few weeks ago.
