The rules for Saint Patricks day when I was a kid were as follows:

If someone isn't wearing green, you get to pinch them (only once for the day)

If you pinch someone who is wearing green, they get you pinch you back.

If they were wearing green but it wasn't visible, (like green underwear) they don't get to pinch you back.

I just used a blue dry-erase marker and a yellow highlighter to make a green mark on my hand to protect myself from pinches.

im wearing shamrock boxers and yoshi pants.

If i go out today, im not going to wear green though. Why? Maybe I want to get pinched.

The only green clothing I own is a 1UP (as in the Mushroom, not the website) hat I just bought. I don't plan to go out though, so I probably won't be wearing it.

I'm wearing my green Notre Dame shirt. I would have worn my Sounders shirt if they hadn't lost on Tuesday.

I was upset earlier that I didn't have any Jameson around for the holiday, but then I learned St. Patrick was originally from Scotland and went to Ireland later on, so it's acceptable to drink scotch, something I have several different varieties of.

I can' tell you that it is not simply food coloring like they would want you to believe.

It is actually a special soylent green mixture, hand picked from some of the finest Irish "ingredients", that was used during the brewing processes.
