-New 360 black redesign coming for $299 with Natal, WiFi access, and 250 GB HDD.
Actually the new 360 black redesign is releasing this week.  They are lowering the price of the Arcade to $150 and the Elite to $250.

Kinect doesn't release until 11/4/10 so how would a console releasing this week include Kinect?

Right, meaning you don't need the extra power supply (which will be included with standalone Kinects at retail).

The only thing I want today is some promise from Ubisoft that BG&E2 is alive and well.

And coming out this year.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

The 3 things I'm really interested out of this conference is MGS Rising (which will come out on PS3 too), Fable 3, and the new 360. Now I need to learn if there's anyway to do a data transfer between 360 hard drives so that I can get that new 360.

I can't believe you're seriously going to rebuy a 360 and support Microsoft's stupid remodel that was due like three years ago. Wow, built-in Wi-Fi. Don't worry, that's totally worth spending another $300 on in 2010.

I could care less for the Wi-Fi because I prefer my connections to be wired, and I want a 360 that makes a lot less noise, and I will be trading in my Elite so it's not like I'm paying full price.

I think that'll be Shantae, thanks. *sigh*

Also, I was looking forward to the new Slim 360 being cheaper than the current model because then I might actually buy one OH WAIT IT'S THE SAME PRICE THANKS MICROSOFT!

Honestly, this sucked.

Maxi, this wasn't decent at all!

It was decent before they showed the Kitect things then well it was really bad. So uh the only redeming thing is that they gave 360's to people.

Yeah, with Kinect included I think that $300 price tag for the new 360 would be justified.  Without it and only a 250 GB HDD and WiFi Support...not so much.  Just for my benefit, does the current Elite supposedly have the RROD problem fixed?

With this conference sucking so much, it can only mean that Nintendo's conference won't be worse...right?

It'd be pretty hard to top this one, but I wouldn't underestimate Nintendo's ability to surpass all expectations.

So no Kinect price point announced?  That means it's too expensive.

Damn....FREE 360's for everyone in attendance!?

Why couldn't I have gone to E3 this year!!??

The audience didn't seem to give much of a **** though.

Presumably, anyone attending their conference already has one.

they should have mixed things up. hardcore one than casual, not hardcore at first and casual at end. I didn't watch any of the hardcore stuff I was taking a nap because I thought G4 was going to cover it. I guess not.

So is Spike covering Nintendo tomorrow too?

Gamestop had it up for preorder on their site for $149.99 right after the conference, but quickly took it down.  Engadget grabbed it though.

Considering Nintendo's previous history with online, I think I'll stick with IGN or Gametrailers, thanks.   ;)

I found out. G4 is covering it. It's odd that one network would have one press conference and another have another.

11:30 but the press conference begins at 9am PST. I guess that's 11:30 EST ? So that is uhh 9:30 when G4 starts covering or 30 minutes after it starts. I'm so confused. It reminds me that scene in END OF DAY ' the world ends at 12am. which 12 Eastern, Pacific, Central ?

Judging by today's Microsoft press conference coverage, the Nintendo Press Conference starts at 12:00 PM EST with a half hour pre-show at 11:30 AM EST.

Spike's made its disdain for Nintendo perfectly clear ("Wii GOTY: NSMBWii. Moving onto more imporant things: the candidates for the award for Best Lighting In A Sewer Scene (Nighttime)! are...*five minute montage*"), so it's no surprise that they're skipping the conference.

Regarding the timing, Eastern time is three hours ahead of Pacific, so G4's coverage will begin at 8:30.  Presumably, with commentary rather than the actual conference.

Come on, Nintendo can't fail this year too.

Considering how terrible Microsoft's conference just was it'd be very hard to.  Hell instead of showing off Zelda Wii, Nintendo's conference could just be Miyamoto with all the top members of EAD 3 doing the Zelda dance for over 2 hours straight and it would still be better then Microsoft conference.
