Topic: Details On The Next Spider-Man Game Surface

I'm hoping that it was just was a shot of Carnage himself & neither a Spider-Carnage or Zombie Spidey. Wouldn't consider either a hero anyway seeing as both eat people...

There's still Spider-Girl or the new Spider-Man that appears in her comic briefly. Only other ones I can think of that people would have actually heard of are Ultimate, the Unlimited cartoon, or Spider-Ham. There's the tokusatsu show in the 70's where he had a giant robot or manga but...naaah...

Exactly why I don't want it to be the Zombie one.

And good point. If its just a shot of Carnage, it could just be the Ultimate Universe. It would explain why you can see the light from the background in the mouth of Carnage, and plus it glowed yellow already. However, that will be a pretty boring choice compared to the drastically different 2099 and Noir... but the most likely considering they are starting a cartoon based on the Ultimate Spider-man line.

Now I am a fan of Scarlet Spider. Would be cool to see him in there as an alley of some sort. Highly doubt he's the 4th one though as he's from Amazing's universe & well, he's dead in the comics. Left a son(Darkdevil) in the MC2 universe though.

The hint for the last Spiderman looks like he's a monster or something. Could it be a symbiote Spiderman? Venom or Carnage Spiderman?

Voice Actors all confirmed.

Activision has announced that actor Neil Patrick Harris will be reprising his role of Spidey as he voices Amazing Spider-Man in the upcoming Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. The actor joins Josh Keaton,Christopher Daniel Barnes, and Dan Gilvezan, actors who will be voicing the other versions of the wallcrawler--Ultimate, Noir, and 2099.

Superfans might recognize those names, but here's the deal for everyone else. Harris played Spider-Man in 2003's Spider-Man: The New Animated Series; Keaton voiced the character in 2008's The Spectacular Spider-Man; Barnes took on the role in 1994's animated Spider-Man; and Gilvezan was Spidey in 1981's Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends. In addition to those actors, Marvel legend (and Spider-Man creator) Stan Lee will be providing the voice of the game's narrator.

It's pretty cool that Activision has gathered together all these actors, no matter how relatively obscure some of them might be. I wonder if 2099 Spidey will almost have his secret lair (and secret identity) blown by Aunt May when she dusts his trophy collection. Probably not.

I didn't realize NPH had ever done Spider-Man until I just looked at IMDb and saw he did Spider-Man's voice in the horrible MTV Spider-Man show. I wish they had gone with Christoper Barnes (voice of Spider-Man in the Fox series) though.

I won't lie. I really want this game. I had my initial doubts with the developer, but everything since then has been really interesting and cool. This is probably one of my most anticipated non-Nintendo-made games coming this fall.
