IGN has been throwing around a rumor that SK is working on a new Psychological Thriller for Nintendo. There is a game entry for it and everything.

Very likely. But they could also just be making a similar game with a brand new setting and theme.

I'm hoping for Eternal Darkness 2. Or even a "Book of Lost Chapters" that tells other stories in a behind the scenes look from other perspectives.

The Grinder for sure because it will be to Conduit what Parfet Dark was to Goldeneye I predict.

Apart from them being nothing alike. As far as we know, the Grinder won't have any multiplayer apart from co-op.

I thought they said it would have deathmatch. Did I just assume that?

Imagine a deathmatch mode where random monsters will pop up and attack you. Or a bounty hunter mode where a certain monster is the target and everyone is racing to get the kill.

So Matt switched from Kid Icarus to Eternal Darkness now?

He just won't quit, that clown.

Honestly, I think the Kid Icarus thing was legit. They don't make stuff up. They're not that crazy.

their Kid Icarus thing was overexaggerated and blown out of proportion.
I thought it was accepted that they were talking about the Factor 5 pitch to Nintendo that never even started development of any kind. Never got past the concept art that was leaked.

This.

At best they had a proof of concept demo running.

Well Matt did say that it was leaked to them and it could very well have been an early in development title (or like you said, a pitch) that did exist (I'm sorry but that Man Icarus screams Factor 5). Remember Winter was put together in a couple of weeks, so it isn't outrageous Factor 5 had something. You can say a lot about Matt but you have to remember he has been in the business for a VERY long time and has made connections throughout that period. I'd rather him state potential titles he heard about then not talk about them all, and if you know anything about the business projects die all the time even if you may have an over anxious source spouting some secrets to people like Matt.

SK working on a game for Wii is quite plausible considering Too Human tanked, and I hope, if it is in development that Nintendo is guiding them. SK is a talented company they just need guidance which they didn't get with Too Human (Which I will admit isn't as bad as people make it out to be but still shows they need a guiding hand). If Conduit proves to be a success I expect to see many more surprises (finally) from 3rd parties. The funny thing is that HVS now has the advantage!

I remember Cryak saying that he wanted to do a sequel to ED, but that project would have to wait.
We know he planned on finishing Too Human, which looks like a case of boiling the stew for far too long, and that he had another project on the back burner(some deal with Sega), but I do remember him saying something about a sequel to ED.

I don't think we will have everyone calling The Grinder generic. What game do you get so many demented creatures in one? lol Zombies, Warewolfs, Vampires, and more!! lol It does look awesome!

People won't call the Grinder generic.  They'll call it a blatant rip-off of Left for Dead for an audience that otherwise won't have played that game.

I think that argument would be funny considering Valve is already making a sequel for L4D that comes out next year.

I hope so, the Wiimote opens up so many new ways to design a sequel.

BnM, was cryak a direct reference to his stunt on NeoGaf or his speech/lecture he game on 1Up Yours defending the game before it came out?

I was rather hostile to L4D2 until a good friend talked it up to me. But I still feel it is too soon for a direct sequel.

Imagine all of the potential Wiimote crazy effects they could do. Voices on the little speaker, turning your IR cursor to some random and rather spooky object and claiming the WiiZapper needs to be calibrated or your Balanceboard ran out of batteries. And best of all: Think of the potential with the VITALITY SENSOR! This game will be great, in my mind :)

Oh his infamous NeoGaf battle, I will say I ended up liking him MORE after that! Classic stuff. I still feel some reviewers let their feelings about his defense of the game skew their scores. Too Human was a slightly above average game with flaws IMO

I loved his talk on the 1Up Yours show. I felt that there was some great stuff to be had there that was a bit beyond gaming. A nice change of pace, actually.

Meh, I have some serious issues with Dennis Dyack.  It's funny how it always seems that he only complains about things in the industry being a major problem when people use them to criticize one of his games.  Interesting how people previewing games wasn't an issue till Too Human got skewered at E3 a few years ago.  Or how message board posting wasn't an issue till people were mocking Too Human.  And then when the game comes out it's a poor-to-mediocre work with serious core gameplay issues.  What a shock.  I'm willing to bet that if that game was praised at E3 and people were praising it on NeoGaf, you wouldn't have heard a peep from him.

Cryak is a direct reference to him crying, whining and complaining about everyone talking about and criticizing his games. No one specific instance, but everything, like Broodwars has said above me.
