Nintendo sends out email for digital downloads instead of to the Wii system. The link in the email doesn't give me any instructions about downloading the game, but takes me to my club orders. I'm confused.

The link should take you to your club orders where, after logging in, you are given a code that you can enter into the Wii.

That's how it worked for me.

All I see are the orders I have and there's nothing about instructions at all. I can't be the only one with the problem, hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Are any of the normal Club Nintendo rewards really worth it? I have all these points, but I don't know what to spend them on. I wish you could spend them on store stuff. I need more empty DS cases for the rest of my GBA games.

I'm leaning toward the Mario-themed DS game/stylus case.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

I just checked Club Nintendo which I haven't done since first ordering the Mario hat, and I niticed something which didn't seem right. My coin balance was 750 last I checked, and now it is 130. I looked through the coin history page and it shows that when the Mario hat was shipped, the coins went to 130.

The hat is a bonus that's supposed to be free, right? And coins don't reset every year and instead expire after two years, correct? So where did those coins go? Or am I missing something?

Also, did they change the eligible Wii games? I could have sworn that all Nintendo-published Wii games were eligible for coins when the website first went up, but I just registered Excite Truck and Battalion Wars II and neither one was eligible.

ExciteTrucks was never eligible for coins.  Not sure about BWii.  Only Wii games that were still being published at the time of the CN introduction were eligible for coins.

As for the missing coins, a quick look at the Tech forums confirms this is some kind of bug - it appears several people are having this issue.

I see. I don't know if anything has changed since the site started or if I just didn't notice the missing games.

Do you think I should visit the tech forum and say the bug is happening to me, or will it be fixed on its own?

I'd guess give it a day or two - they'll either fix it quietly or make an announcement.

I too ordered the Mario hat and my coin balance did not go down. So it is not a universal matter.

I'd let Nintendo know that your coins disappeared.

Wow thats a nice collection but i gotta ask.. wtf is that dreamcast style N64 controller at the top/center and how do you use the D-pad comfortably!?

Oh and i also must ask: are you Nintendo64 Kid's sister??

As for the picture of that hat... i actually think the one I bought for caterkiller (which by the way, sorry dude i still haven't sent out! so much for trying to get it to you before halloween :( don't hate me!) is different than the one Nintendo sent out.. and better to boot. I'll try to post a pic later..

Well, my "desktop calender" arrived today and...it is pretty unspectacular (especially with the artwork), but it was free so I can't really complain.  For those curious, the "calender" is composed of a sequence of printed index cards that slide into a cardboard holder (with a stand you can punch out of the back and fold out).  Each card has artwork for a particular Wii or DS game on the front (with a quick listing of the days of the month) and a calender on the back with minor artwork.  The cards within are as follows:

Silver Club Nintendo card - back: November and December Calenders with an outline of Mario and Luigi high 5-ing each other.

January - New Super Mario Bros. Wii
February - Kirby Super Star Ultra
March - WarioWare
April - Wii Fit Plus
May - Animal Crossing City Folk
June - Metroid Prime
July - Punch-Out!
August - Wii Sports Resort
September - Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver
October - The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
November - Pikmin
December - Super Mario Galaxy
There was a Signature here. It's gone now.

I was pretty underwhelmed by Doc Louis's Punch-Out. I was hoping it would be more than than a fight against Louis. I wasn't expecting a full fledged game, but it's just a fight against Doc and a training mode. Nothing more. I should have picked the Mario hat.

I am sort of wishing I had taken the hat as well. I was still caught up in playing a lot of Punch-Out!! so it made sense to me at the time, but not any more. Punch-Out!! is still a blast to play and that one will stay in my collection.

That is the Hori Pad Mini. If you're thinking of getting one then note that it was released only in Japan and is therefore somewhat valuable, and, frankly, isn't worth it.

and how do you use the D-pad comfortably!?
You don't.

As for the picture of that hat... i actually think the one I bought for caterkiller is different than the one Nintendo sent out.. and better to boot.
The hat from Club Nintendo was designed to replicate Mario's hat as much as possible and therefore isn't meant to function as a hat for practical use. Anyone who plans on wearing it may be disappointed, as it is too small for the average person to comfortably wear.

Yeah, those Hori mini's for the N64 are a pain to track down.  I've tried now and again - they're usually out of my price range.  I'll stick with my pair of Hori Digitals for the 'Cube. ;)

I still ain't got my stuff yet. The good thing is that I had 2 accounts to order both of them. The first one was the account from My Nintendo or whatever it was, the second one I created for my mom, and I have a third one I created a few weeks ago.
