Try using letters that have accents or umlauts.
I don't know if my OCD will let me do that, but thanks anyway.

Joan sells turnips in you town every Sunday from 6AM to noon. She will sell 1 red turnip (though sometimes she doesn't have any) for 1,000 bells and you plant it, you have to water it every day but if you wait a week before digging it back up you can sell it for 16,000. You can also but white turnips. She will sell these in batches of 10 or 100 (i.e. you can't buy 54 turnips) and will sell them fro anywhere between 80 and 110 bells per turnip. From Monday through Thursday Nook will offer 2 prices per day for turnips (one before noon and one after noon), Saturday is your last day to sell though since turnips spoil after 1 week. Some weeks though Nook will never offer you a price that makes you a profit.

I've heard doing that will bring down turnip prices, but I'm not sure if that's true or not.

I think that is only if the time on your game is different than the Wii system.

How would the game be able to tell if I changed the Wii clock? As long as I didn't set it back farther than the last time I played, I should be fine.

Yep. I haven't set it up yet though because it was raining and I wanted to catch that fish that appears only when it is raining. It was hilarious, that was the very first fish I caught. After that I was so excited I forgot everything else I was going to do.

So I just found the game with WiiSpeak for only $40 on Amazon and decided to get it with my birthday money. Should be getting it in a week or so. Expect my FC up shortly. I've never played an AC game before so I'm highly curious about trying it.

LOL at MiP. Didn't someone decide to call you Mop it up?

I have been holding on to that money because I've been tight on cash without a job. But I'm moving back with my folks and going back to my old job at Pizza Hut for a while to save up money to return and finish school later. Since I have work again I feel safe spending it instead of holding it for a financial emergency. And my folks do have a good internet connection, it's the one I used in both the Mario Kart and Bomberman Wi-Fi nights.

When the game comes in the mail and I get it set up I'll post my codes. Do you all have WiiSpeak as well?

I sold the WiiSpeak because I don't need it... or didn't need it. The store I was at had only the bundles, so I bought one and sold the accessory. The only reason I got the game was because two of my friends had it and wanted me to get it, neither of whom have WiiSpeak. We just talk on the phone whilst we play.

But then, a couple people on another forum I visit bought the game, and when they found out I had it they kind of insisted that I play it with them. My friends aren't comfortable with the possibility of random people showing up when we play, so I created a second character to use for people on that forum.

If there are now people here on this forum who want to play, then I think I'll create a third character. It's a strange way to organize things I know, but that's the way I like to do it.

If anyone who plays with me wants to use WiiSpeak I don't mind, but it might be kind of awkward since I have to use the text chat.

I'm glad you decided to check it out. AC is such a fun game and so different at the same time. It's just nice to pick up and play to relax. I hope you enjoy it.

Real voice? You make it sound like I've been using some kind of fake voice.

After all of this talk about how old my computer is and the things I don't own, do you really think I have a PC microphone?

I've been told that my voice sounds like a cat walking across a piano, methinks you'd just find it annoying.

With my first character's house now finished, I've been juggling the other three characters trying to build up their houses as well. Now it's time to increase the madness by opening the gates to NWR!

Here's my information:

Code:
0345-5979-9443
Character Name: Kathrine
Town Name: Coolvill
Wii Speak: No
Timezone: EST
Native Fruit: Peaches
Other Fruit: Apples, Cherries, Coconuts

Special Item: White Nintendo DSi Bench!
I will sell a white Nintendo DSi to anyone who wants one for $15,000. That's $3,900 less than what it costs to purchase one, so you're getting a deal on a rare item. If you want one, let me know before we meet up so I can order it.
