Geometry Wars wasn't among the inspirations but I guess the unit counts are closer to GW's enemy numbers than anything else.

I'm really digging that style used for that mod. I really need to fix my PC for gaming haha. The onboard soundchip is causing my PC to crash when I play games or watch wmv files, but I'm too lazy to go and buy a PCI sound card.
