I didn't get married nor I died recently. And Smash_Brother wasn't replaced by another person in hopes that people wouldn't notice. I also didn't try to perform some stupid stunt in order to attract more audiences nor I was given a cute baby to interact with!

All kidding aside, I think you mean "jumping the gun". "Jumping the shark" is a term used for when TV shows begin to lose their appeal and start adding gimmicks in hopes of more people tuning in.

I admit I am being cynical and that's because I was burned by Melee and the hype so badly that I now tend to look at Brawl in a more negative light.

I'm just playing it safe so that I'll be truly surprised when the secrets are revealed nor get my hopes shot down if that's going to be it for megatons.

We know there are unaccounted for secret characters as well, such as Jigglypuff and Ganondorf who were both mentioned in interviews and given a quasi-indirect confirmation. There is also no way Luigi won't be playable in some form, plus we can probably toss up Krystal as another one who is "all but confirmed" given the whole voice actress credit thing.

How many secret characters will there be? Who knows, but there are some who have not be revealed, that's guaranteed.

With as much time as has been going into Brawl, I am still thinking the final roster will land between 36 and 40 characters...

Realistically, I think the roster will stop at 35. Going above it would be ludicrous. Technically, Sakurai and his team can do it (if the Mortal Kombat team, the Capcom team and the Atari/Dragon Ball team are able cram more than 50 characters in their respective fighters so can Sakurai), but he gotta leave some characters for the fourth game...That is IF there is a foruth game O.O .

I'm sure Sakurai could put in more then 50, The dragonball games are kind of a bad example that game has a terrible balance problem. I know people are expecting a lot more characters (give me Geno and I'll be happy) But if most veterans return I'll be happy as it is now.

Balancing 50 characters in a fighting game would be nigh-impossible. There will always be blatant tiers.

As for there being another one, it'll definitely happen. It's Nintendo's highest selling franchise. Why would they end it now?

Hopefully it sticks to one a generation, though, and doesn't go handheld... ever. My anticipation for Mario Kart, for example, took a nose dive after it became a "one a generation game for both consoles and handhelds", although I still love it.

At this point, though, I'm just wondering if Sakurai would be back for a 4th?

Pikmin gave us a really interesting character and now a really interesting stage. As the huge Pikmin fan I am, I'm very glad the series is contributing so much to this game.

Haha, that stage looks awesome. I may not be a big pikmin fan but this stage looks FUN. Then again the more crazy stuff going on in the stage the more I like it. And that delay is flat out BS and a LIE, if the game is ready for Japan it is ready for here!

WOW!

The layout design is basic but its BEAUTIFUL! I love how the background blurring makes it look like a photo and the Pikmin artwork and renders.

I also love the fact that this stage should finally shut everyone that was whining about Olimar not being his right size :p . The sense of scale is amazing.

The Bulborb and the rain should make for very interesting obstacles, although I hope they are not too obtrusive.

Overall I love this stage.

They delayed it until my birthday, though of course because of the stupid way they do dates for games it will actually be there the next day. This wrecks my plans for a Brawl tournament with my friends on my birthday.
