To be fair, it wasn't my picture, but I did notice the striking resemblance to Falcon.

I think Falcon is going to be hidden, therefore never revealed on Dojo.

Yeah the Red Alloy is clearly based off of Falcon but I still need to see the real deal.  Red Alloy is just Sakurai's way of rubbing the fact that Falcon is in the game, but he's not going to show him in my face.

If Captain Falcon does indeed end up a hidden character then that proves to you all Sakurai hates me.  You know how Richard Nixon had an enemy list, we'll I guess Sakurai has one too and my name is somewhere on top.

I don't think he was CONFIRMED until this point, honestly.

What with one of the F-Zero games and the F-Zero anime featuring a new lead character, Falcon being replaced by the "new guy" wasn't entirely out of the question. It would explain why we've seen nothing about F-Zero except for one AT so far.

But that HAS to be Falcon, unless the new guy looks and fights EXACTLY like him.

In other words, the Lucas of the F-Zero universe.

The new guy, though, only appeared in the anime. They did make an F-Zero game based on the anime, but the storyline is not canon to the real F-Zero universe, so I doubt they would use characters from the anime.

Then again, Sakurai is a crazy guy and thus anything may happen :p .

The "male wireframe" in Melee was based off Captain Falcon, so Red Alloy is probably just based on that.

Well Captain Falcon could have been replaced with Rick Wheeler/Ryu Suzaku seeing as how he was kind of the main character in the anime series and the last two F-Zero games to come out, although Captain Falcon was just as prominent, for the most part, in both games and the anime. Saying that, I still feel that Captain Falcon is the most reconizable F-zero Character, and as such has to be in the game.

Also, this (BTW, that is Rick/Ryu who is says "Captain Falcon") pretty much solidifies how important Captain Falcon is to the Smash series, and vice versa.

Here is an interesting fact; Maximum Velocity, which happens about a quarter of a century after X, has a hidden racer called the Blue Falcon MkII which is driven by Kent Akechi, who claims to be Falcon's son (in fact he and his car are the only real links to previous F-Zeros in Maximium Velocity). It would be kind of cool, albeit obscure, if he replaced his father. Here is a picture of both the racer and Kent Akechi.

Is Rick/Kent/Bullsquash even CAPABLE of a Falcon PAAAANCH?  Leave imitators out, including Ganondork.  They're not worthy.

Well Kent maybe able to, if he is in fact the son of the Falcon, but Rick is only capable of watching a Falcon Punch with both exalted awe and abject terror, as seen in the anime.

psh! Ganondorf SHOULD be in the game, and when i use "should" i mean "its a good idea for it to, and the benefits of it doing so would be most positive", on the other hand im not concerned if he has the same set of moves or not.
