"You have to think about what sort of game would be best for the sort of customer each console attracts, so putting Tales out on the Wii could be called a mismatch, but we see it as a calculated business risk because there are no other RPGs."

"so putting Tales out on the Wii could be called a mismatch"
And people wonder why Nintendo fans have negative feelings towards third parties. Watch as the Wii Tales, outsells the 360/PS3 Tales games by about 5 times as many copies, and yet Namco will then immediatly announce 3 new Tales games, all for only the 360/PS3.
It's just like how Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube, is the best selling Tales game of all time. But because the PS2 port of the game sold 100,000 more copies in Japan, Namco suddenly announces the rest of the Tales series will only be PS2 exclusive. Even though Tales of Symphonia created a huge Tales fanbase worldwide on the Gamecube, because the PS2 Japan only port outsold the Gamecube version in Japan by not even a large margin, that was all Namco needed to completly remove all Gamecube support.
You see everyone, that's how third party support works on a Nintendo system. Release nothing but scraps and look for any reason you can to pull all support, even if your already giving it hardly any support in the first place.
