Alright!  I find it rather ironic that Pokemon Stadium gets revealed on the day I decide not to make any prediction...It's a sign!  (Awesome stage!)

I'm still hoping Luigi carries the Poltergust on him permanently; as he could have a specific moveset based on that alone.  Here's how I would do it:

Up+B - Shoots a blast of air downwards propelling him into the air (recovery move) / used standing it would create a poof of air so strong that would smack opponents backward.
Standard B - Pulls the opponent toward Luigi, sucking them into the vaccuum / push B again to shoot them out causing MASSIVE DAMAGE.
Forward+B - Shoots out an element shot / fire, water, lighting (each with it's own damage percentage) / smash + B for this move would build up the charged element.
Down + B - Charge Jump attack (Super Mario Bros. 2 style) / smash down + B to jump even higher (ala Super Paper Mario)

There ya go.  That would make Luigi a distinctly unique character in Brawl.  It would do away with his copycat clone moves in Melee, though.  ^_^

Ok, Pokemon Stadium 2 is going to be awesome...but I hope that means Pokemon Stadium 1 will be there as a classic level since they are different.  I really like diversity of the level.  Ice for slipping.  Air for Big Jumps, Ground for terrain variety....and we still have no idea what electric is...but I know it will not be a safe environment...or it could be all metal...for Pikachu.

As for Mario's FLUDD move, I was hoping when I saw that it would replace his Cape move, because now he will have two special moves that do little to NO damage, but are supposed to keep people at bay or avoid projectiles.  Does Mario need to be that defensive oriented?

Overall I really like the FLUDD move though, I think it will add something for Mario.  And his Spin Attack could be his Downward Air Smash now...or just Downward Smash in general.

As for Luigi, I do hope he has the Poltergust on him permanently as well.  Though I would change his Down + B not to be the charge jump...Instead I would just give it to him if he docks with out moving for 3 seconds he can have the charge jump.  It fits more with being game accurate.

Then I would give the suction move...as a tether attack.  To keep him different from Mario, and also make him jump much higher than Mario.

I like how they are updating the characters' moves in order to feature moves based on their most recent game appearances. It makes it look like the SSB series is evolving alongside the other Nintendo franchises.

I, for one, DON'T want Luigi to permanently have the Poltergust on him.  I'm fine with it being a special move, but I love Luigi's moveset.  If I lose my amazing uppercut abilities, I'll be incredibly angry.

I think they made the right call with F.L.U.D.D.  Having it so that you can't just sit there blocking and spamming minor damage to the point it accumulates to large damage is a good thing.  Plus this just means Mario now has a "get out of my face" move plus an additional "send them beyond recovery move".

Since Luigi's move set is basically a Luigified version of Mario's, I figure the Poltergust will be his down+B move now.  There's a certain logic in the Poltergust simply doing the opposite of FLUDD and pulling people towards Luigi without doing damage, but I have trouble seeing how that would be a good thing for Luigi.  It could lead into a grapple attack like Bowser's side+B.

the change of marios Down + B special makes me kinda sad.. the tornado spin move wasnt my favorive but it was fun catching noobies offgaurd with it because they didnt know it could rise if you kept tapping b. a simple pleasure, i know, but i dont think it'll have that ability as a standart move, especially if it replaces his downward smash.

his leg sweep will be missed

I do not think that the leg sweep will be the move replaced considering that both times we have seen the tornado preformed in Brawl, once in a photo and once in a video, it has been in the air, thus making it an aerial normal move. That is assuming that the tornado has been turned into a normal move to begin with.

Wow, a triple update.

While I am kind of sad that it seems we will not be able to play MP3s off an SD card, I am happy that the Dark World Theme is in the game, as well as the multitude of songs that appear to be in the game now.

I'd normally agree... but if we are honestly getting 4+ original/arrangement themes created for each stage, I would much rather take that over using mp3s personally.

Ideally, both would be possible, of course, although I certainly won't complain about what was decided upon. I'm really glad about this too as a number of the released themes were, while not bad, kind of lackluster in terms of picturing myself fighting to the music. This releases any fear I might have had about a theme not being up to snuff, as it will be one of many.

Just...wow.....so the reason for all those musicians finally comes clear. Holy crap though, Sakurai is really making this his ultimate masterpiece. I really cant remember any other game being this...massive.

Hype meter is broken cause Brawl just WTFPWND it

So we have roughly 1:20 between theme changes in the Pokemon stage

and the potential that the music changes for each type too.

One of the best song in the series, right up there with Hyrule Castle.

Also SD card music /may/ still be an option.  They could easily work that in but the options may be more limiting.... (ie Pick the likely hood of any one of the canned songs, or pick a random mp3 on your card).
