I love how as soon as I mention anything negative about this game (or when ANYONE mentions anything negative about this game), people immediately accuse them of "freaking out".
First of all, yes, I do think Sora should focus entirely upon the core gameplay before they do anything with extras, but neither my opinion or yours expressed here will change what they decide to do with their time.
Second, that doesn't change the fact that I think this mode is the most idiotic thing they've done in a while. "Sticker Mode"? SSBM received a T rating for violence and I doubt Brawl will be any different. Who above the age of 13 would have the intellect to appreciate this kind of thing? This is a glorified version of the Photo Channel, which I'm sure we all played with for 15-20 minutes and then we were done with it.
That said, if they're going to give us extras, how about extras that don't SUCK?
How about a costume change mode, where you can alter the appearance of a character, add decals to them, and bind them to your name so that, whenever you play as Link, for example, he'll be wearing the decals you customized for him on his shield, tabard, etc.
Or maybe a character mod mode, where you can alter the size, strength and proportions of a character, then save the template and use them in a special "mod mode" where you can play as your modded character.
Trophies and stickers are cute and everything, but I'll never understand why engaging in Nintendo fansturbation seems to be acceptable as an extra while awesome extras like the ones in F-Zero GX, for example, go overlooked when they'd add assloads of replay value to the game.
