Those clips were awful! They should off so little. This is what they promised? Well, at least we know the game is looking good.

Why?  Because they were short?  I think this is the best way to show off a lot of the game without actually spoiling anything... =\

Should I say I'm sorry for not being impressed by 3 second long clips that don't really show much of the game off?

This is another title that I don't know what all the hoopla is about TBH.

TBH = To be hateful! No More Heroes is going to kick your ass while you play it. It's going to be the best Murder Simulator since Manhunt 2.

The hupla (wtf is a hupla?) is derived from how insanely cool this game is. You see, it looks as if it plays like a much better RE4 (as in analog movement; i.e. no tank mode) except with bad guys and bad gals instead of zombies and monsters. Not only that, it has wiimote - saber fighting motion. Oh, and let's not forget the ridiculously cool art style.

I absolutely hate the art style . . . it's like lazy cell shading.

Edit: I also spelt hoopla wrong haha sorry.

I've said it once to a friend of mine and I will tell it to you guys, you either like a Suda51/GrassHopper game or you don't, and I mean that to any of their games post Killer7 (I never played any of their games before Killer7).
Mashiro doesn't like Killer7, he will not like No More Heroes, and I bet he probably didn't like Contact either.

Contact is a DS rpg (very non-traditonal kind of rpg) that was made by GrassHopper (makers of Killer7) and published by Marvelous Entertainment...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contact_%28video_game%29 .

I didn't like killer 7 bt no more heroes appears to be of a different genre, in the vain of GTA so I don't see how you can't dislike killer 7 but like no more heroes.

Hahahahaha no. This game is going to be NOTHING like GTA. Oh god... no... just no.

Edit: What I mean to say is... there is no basis to compare this game to GTA. Sure, it's set in a fictional City and you'll probably get to drive around, but there's no indication at all that this game is intended to be a sandbox of any sort.

So it isn't going to be free roam? Because this is what I meant.

Cell shading was once stylish, like back when Jet Set Radio came out for DC.

From all I've read and seen you WILL be able to roam the city, but the city will simply be a setting for you to go to certain missions segments I believe. So yes, it'll be free roaming... but it won't be sandbox.

I think.

Maybe it will be? Ooohhh.... just come out already!

No . . . I know what stylization is.

Does that mean I have to like it? "Oh well normally I would say the game looks bland but because it's their stylization it makes it awesome!". I don't like the art style.

Sorry. =P

Cel-shading is not cruise control for style. It has to be done right. Viewtiful Joe, Killer7, and now No More Heroes are all stylish.
