The good news is that she's fine. The bad news is that I get no games until I see how far in debt we've gone.

(Yes, we have insurance, but hospital stays with lots of tests and procedures and 911 calls are not inexpensive... even good insurance could leave us a healthy tab.)

edit: Dang, I killed the forum. I need 100ccs of virtual adrenaline in the form of SSB Megat0n announcements, STAT!

I'm going to put it to you straight Decoyman.  Its great you are being responsible but, if you wait for every single bill to come and be paid from the trip you might not be getting a game till next Christmas.  I've had visits to the doctor that I thought I had paid send me a new fresh bill 1 year later.

Which is terrible.  I rather like to know what the max I could pay leaving the hospital... Bah thats neither here nor there.   I'm glad your wife's ok and best of luck with those bills.

resurrection of old thread!

so. how is the online stuff? how many people at once? just two? four?

reason I ask is that i played warhawk, and it reminded me of battalion wars 1... you know, without the strategy.

I also love this game.  I haven't been able to play online much, but plan on it more so after Christmas.  I love Assault but have found that defending is much easier until you play the levels a couple times and find a good attacking strategy, then it evens out.  Very fun game.

Hey Pro, what kind of wifi multiplayer fun can be had with this game?  I love this game too, maybe we can do it up. In the non-sexual way.

The small selection of co-op missions are great, since there's plenty to destroy.  It's solid divide & conquer or "watch my back" scenarios.  One of the latter missions is kinda tough tho.

Adversarial doesn't work so well cuz it's like playing chess with only pawns on a really long board.  You take each other apart quick.

I played Adversarial once, and never played online again. Because of that.

You probably missed the $10 clearance deals a year ago.

Some stores around me stopped carrying it.  Not casual enough.

It is on eBay US. I believe stores still sell it for $50 and GameStop has it for $25 used.

But if I recall correctly you don't live in North America...

I've had BWii since release, and the only time i did multiplayer the other player dropped out on me..   Never played it since..   here was the scenario

as far as I could tell we were vs. each other,
i bombed and shot all the ships in the harbor
he hung up

any ideas?  can anyone describe a typical scenario?

1.  We play
2.  We don't disconnect like weak children
3.  We blow stuff up for 3-10min, depending on the mission
4.  Have fun trying to get S ratings!

Yes. Join us. Though too bad you missed out on the Wi-Fi Night. It got expanded to three days and I referred to them as BWii Days.

Also, I don't disconnect. I hate it when people do that. I prefer to man up and finish the fight, even if it is a losing battle. I believe in being honorable and letting the other player(s) get the points/wins they deserve. Unless they are hacking. Then I leave unless I am still beating them (which has happened in some games from time to time).
