I can't imagine their would be much lag if you played online side by side.

It is pretty pathetic, I went to two different stores and they both had Manhunt for Wii but not Battalion Wars. This is really the first Nintendo published title that I haven't seen at the store the day after.

Wow... this game is pretty neat! It's MUCH faster paced than the original, which is very welcome, the cinematics don't make me want to gouge my eyes out when I watch them, the voice acting is...passable.... I eventually grew to dislike the first one based on the anal difficulty of some situations, but so far I'm really enjoying this one!

SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T RESERVE?  Cactus.  Sodomy.  Not necessarily in that order or combination.

I enjoyed the first game too much.  Such is what happens when the Rainbow Six series falls apart starting with the 2nd sequel and multiplatform strategies of unjustice & shame.

What are the bonuses like in BWii? I didn't unlock any on the first campaign (got a couple of B's), but I hope I'm not missing out on anything.

I want to get some more practice in before I take it online. I don't even have my Friend Code yet because my internet was out for 6 hours so I couldn't get it.

The link in my post is the same as the one Pale posted, so you can choose either one to click on, but if you don't choose mine I think that really says something about your character.

Wait, there's no single-console multiplayer, but there's LAN, right? Right?

Even the Simpsons has a one console co-op mode. I'm not even sure I'm going to get the game now. I thought the Wii was about bringing people together? Shouldn't that translate into being able to play games like BWii together? This crap with games being online only now is ridiculous, heck even a lot of Xbox LIve's remakes are online only when they should have local play as well. It is too bad because this will probably be the last BWii game, I doubt it will sell well.

Where's PaLaDiN? This is a perfect example of online cutting into (normally) standard offline features, and making the game worse.

It is sad because I thought it could have been blast to play with someone in co-op at home and go against 1 or 2 people online like Strikers.

Technically you could play multiplayer with someone in the same room, you both connect online and play each other that way. It's a horrible solution, but it would work. EDIT: Though that would probably work a whole lot better if at least one person were using a LAN adapter.

Just did that with my roommate. We had a bunch of fun with the co-op missions! ... but yeah, just too many hoops to jump through for the average person, and co-op just WOULDN'T work without voice... we were yelling almost all game!
