Honestly, though... why use a propritary recharable pack. When you can just use standard AA rechargables.
I mean, once again, when your "rechargeable pack" dies. You'll have to stop playing to charge it. Or buy two of them and keep one charged. But then why can't you, or Ian, for for that matter, just do the same with standard AA recharables?
Buy some standard AA recharables and keep a couple AA recharable batteries charged as backup. It's lots cheaper and you can use the batteries for all your other devices as well. Those AA batteries are not just Wii AA batteries like those "Recharable Pack" batteries for your Wiimote would be. And besides, when newer higher capacity AA recharables come out you don't have to wait for Nintendo to release the extentend life battery or for MadCatz to update their "recharable pack" with it. You just go to Jewl or Costco or where ever and pickup a pack of the new 4million mAh AA batteries and presto. More game time for your Wiimote.
So, I don't get why Ian is having one of his hate-gaisms over this. It just honestly makes such much better sense an internal battery. But what ever, go have your little hate-on ian.
