Well now we know for sure that NOA hates the Mother series and will never bother to even bring one to the US ever again.

They spent the time and money to translate Tales of Phantasia, a game made by Namco a third party company, but wont even bother to translate a game made by one of their OWN IN HOUSE STUDIOS.

Actually that and the really bad rewards system here in the States tell you that they hate there USA fanbase like it was some sort of Cancer now. (That they are trying to treat with Radiation hence while Perrin Kaplan is still shown in public.)

It is sarcastic. One of the translation team, Alan Averill (who used to be the main writer for Nintendo Power way back when) is a big Earthbound fan and they were just playing dumb

I suspect maybe one of the translators works on it during his lunch hours and begs Reggie to release it twice a week. We might see it yet, but I don't think it's a priority. I'll keep holding out hope until sometime in January.
