That new video is SO fake. It doesn't even look real. Especially considering NOTHING on the helmet and the system match. So lame. If there IS anything (which there isn't) then it has not one thing to do with Nintendo On. Sleek and smallest ever have nothing to do with On.

Btw, the NES launched in August of 1985. I made the May 19th thing up just show you you guys how easy that became 'fact'.

(quick history, i didn't know)

Following a series of arcade game successes in the early 1980s, Nintendo made plans to produce its own console hardware. Designed by Masayuki Uemura and released in Japan on July 15, 1983, the Nintendo Family Computer (Famicom) was slow to gather momentum: during its first year, many criticized the system as unreliable, prone to programming errors and rampant freezing. Following a product recall and a reissue with a new motherboard, however, the Famicom's popularity soared, becoming the best selling gaming console in Japan by the end of 1984. Encouraged by their successes, Nintendo soon turned their attentions to the North American market.

In June 1985, Nintendo unveiled its American version of the Famicom at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). With a completely redesigned case and a new name, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) proved to be just as popular in America as it was in Japan, and played a major role in revitalizing interest in the video game industry following the video game crash of 1983.

Personally I always thought of it as the "massive, inexpensive expansion of my Atari 2600 collection" of 1983

If this isn't real, it's the scariest series of coincidences ever...

I know, I'm just repeating it for emphasis.

It has been lots of fun though.

This would all have to be way too coincidental for it to be fake.  I mean, IGN, GameSpot, and EVEN PGC aren't reporting anything of this firestorm of rumors/hype.  I mean, this IS big Nintendo news whether or not it is real.  Contrarily, IGN reported the Nintendo On video and was quick to call it fake.  So why did they post that rumor if they aren't posting these?  These rumors have to be at least 10x bigger than the random mockup.
is it normal?

Those sites are busy with a little something called E3.

Same reason as Rick hasn't posted in this thread yet.

I doubt it.  Especially IGN (Cube) has had so little coverage on GameCube.  It's like a joke.

This thread is exactly like the silicon knights hoax thread.  I swear, if we want to create a hoax from scratch, we could use the same circle logic used in this thread to try and prove its validity.

I'm surprised Bill isn't in here... =P
