Hardly, since there have been so many Aries imposters lately, that could have been made up. Also, regardless of "Aries" hints, there's still stuff coming from Nintendo, such as that Nintendogs time/date, so even if Aries was fake, something's still up.

The IGN console thing is a huge stretch. For one they have the disc slot and buttons on the side of the console, not the end. And second the ethernet does plug into the system.

if it is indeed the anniversary of the NES release (5/19 that is) then i suspect that Nintendo will do something. reveal the rev? show off something? smack us with Mario128? who knows.

but, they should, IMO, use the annivesary to their advantage, even if it is a 'hey! remember this?' sorta way. kinda 'we've been doing this longer and better than our competition' sorta thing.

Ok. Again I will be the voice of reason. This is fake. Read my reasonings why, and I think you will see throughout this thread there isn't really good reasons for it to happen this way.

However, I will give you this.

If Nintendo wanted to spotlight the Nintendo DS and Gamecube to make sure they got media coverage, it would be smart to do it first at E3 with no big new hardware to overshadow it. Then the last day reveal Revolution and the Press has an entire day to enjoy the Revolution, but Nintendo got all there software and hardware covered equally.

It still isn't that good of a reason to have a lame Press Conference though.

Its completely bogus.

Just accept it all.

Aries is Bunk, and he was able to get a few lucky guess in about the future of Nintendo and that is all.

I'm going to call these PMs a hoax. The real Aries was much more articulate and would know that "spreaded" is not a real word. The word is "spread", for past tense. Also, if this was the real Aries, that sentence would have read something more like this: "Still, I can't believe how quickly this has spread".

It was leaked on purpose, I don't think the second one has anything to do with this though, someone not involved with this just slapped that together.

It's very brief (10 seconds). It shows the "Nintendo On" logo fromt he previous video. Shows the prototype Revolution "black box" that was unveiled the other day. Zooms in on the power button, and then shows the Revolution, with the "Nintendo On" helmet sitting next to the console.
