I just looked threw the top 50 Japanese games and the winner is

Nintendo DS with 11 titles,

Gameboy Advance with 11 titles,

PSP with 5 titles,

Although the PSP is continuing to sell, not as well as DS, the games for the PSP system seem to be left on the shelves by the Japanese public.

Nintendo's #15 is Touch Kirby.

Yep, #25 and 33 are Megaman. Because he's "Rockman" in Japan, and they have that L/R interchangability thing.

An 18,000 lead is really quite big! The DS must be nearly caught up again for the year. It's million plus lead is growing steadily. Quite impressive how well that training stuff is doing too.

Ok, so the DS has totally won Japan now, but

Things seem not to well in the US right now,

In Europe it sold well at first, but what about now?

And in Australia it sold increadible at first, but what about now?

well #'s for N.A. & EU are a little harder to obtain.

NPD doesn't release the rankings very often, as they make you subscribe to their info(several thousand $$$ a year)

but the April's NPD #'s(N.A.) are on the page before this one

Yeah, that's pretty much the only place to get DS Austrlaian sales. Super Mario 64 DS did very well here, it was in the top three for a month or two, but now it's dropped off, I don't see any other game doing well here 'til Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros or Pokemon come out.

Good to see Nintendo DS has surpassed PSP for system sales this year in Japan. As far as software, the DS is PWNING the shite out of PSP. Too bad the Cube is getting it's ass handed to it by everything but the GBA and Xbox though.
