General Chat / I think my motherboard died...

Well, here's the problem: my brother was playing a game on my computer, it froze, he hard restarted it and now it boots to the screen with the motherboard manufacturer's logo, then does nothing else. I can press the delete key to try and enter setup, and while the "Entering Setup" message appears, nothing happens. It'll just sit there. I can't get it to do anything else.
So far I've tried the RAM, both sticks are fine and work in my other computer. I've tried using the CMOS reset jumpers. Still nothing. I've even pulled the motherboard's battery out for 30 minutes to try and let it restore itself to factory settings, and nothing. I can't get it to do anything.
The board is a few years old, and the CPU was lightly overclocked, but can anyone help?
