At 11:00 PM, the black lights come on and the magic begins.

It's hard to believe that Wii still only has one bowling game (Wii Sports) when the system is arguably synonymous with bowling. Crave will be the first publisher to challenge Nintendo's pack-in with Brunswick Pro Bowling. The license should be familiar to anyone who's ever rolled a single game, as Mr. Brunswick brought the sport to the masses throughout the 20th century, and his name continues to be plastered on half the stuff in your local bowling alley.

Brunswick Pro Bowling promises realistic physics, tons of customization options, and ten different bowling centers for window dressing. Besides the obligatory four-player mode, Brunswick aims to provide a meatier single-player game than Wii Sports. Career Mode lets you create an amateur bowler and take him or her through a series of tournaments to eventually become a pro champion. You can even develop rivalries during the career ascent.

The Wii version of this multiplatform game surely employs some kind of motion control, but as of this writing, we don't have any details on how the controls might differ from those in Wii Sports. We can compare the prices, though – Crave is a budget publisher, so you'll be able to pick up Brunswick Pro Bowling for around thirty bucks.
