DATEL ANNOUNCES ADVANCED MUSIC PLAYER FOR THE GBA/SP
Clearwater, FL - July 8, 2003 - Datel Electronics, the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of video game enhancement products, has announced the release of the Advanced Music Player for Game Boy Advance.
The Advanced Music Player is a cartridge that plugs directly into the Game Boy Advance/SP to turn any GBA/SP into a portable Digital Music Player. With the included USB Cable and PC software, new music tracks can be downloaded from a PC in seconds making it easy to update and change the AMP’s play list in no time. The Advanced Music Player comes with a set of headphones but the music can also be played directly through the GBA/SP’s speakers. Headphone adapters are included, allowing GBA SP owners to use their AMP with no additional purchases.
“The GBA Advanced Music Player is perfect for gamers on the move. By switching a single cartridge, GBA/SP owners can go from playing a game to listening to music and back again within seconds.” says Doug Parsons, Managing Editor of Datel Design & Development, Inc.
An intuitive on screen menu allows gamers to control their AMP much like they would any portable music device. With advanced features such as a graphical equalizer and downloadable skins, gamers can customize their AMP to suit their unique musical and graphical style. Gamers can use songs from their own personal library stored on any home PC. The Advanced Music Player will hold approximately 30 minutes of music and can be updated or changed at any time.
