AMP has a fully featured Playlist Editor which gives the user functions such as random play, shuffle, skip forward/back a track, and more. There's also a Keypad Lock option to avoid accidentally skipping tracks while the GBA is in your pocket.

Favorite songs can be downloaded from a PC to the AMP cartridge using the supplied USB cable and software. Users can transfer songs from their own personal library or download FREE music tracks from the massive online catalogue already at www.mp3junkies.com. Several songs are already included on the AMP disc.
