Slowly becoming a major publishing force, Take Two wants to expand its development talent.
Gotham Games and Gathering of Developers, two of Take Two's development houses, said they were looking to acquire more development resources.
A top name thrown around was Vivendi Universal's game division, which is cutting back its entertainment divisions in light of the economy. Blizzard Entertaiment, developers of the upcoming multi-platform Starcraft Ghost, is a division of Vivendi. However, VU's asking price is a bit too hefty for Take Two to handle without some outside help.
