Suddenly, I have to own this game.

Today Acclaim Entertainment announced that Terry "Hulk" Hogan, one of the most famous pro wrestlers of all time, has signed on to endorse the upcoming Legends of Wrestling game, which is coming to GameCube as well as other systems.

“I’m proud to work again with Acclaim and be a part of ‘Legends of Wrestling,’” said Hulk Hogan. “This game is testimony to the many talented wrestlers who have spent their entire careers entertaining generations of fans inside the squared circle.”

Amen to that, sir.

Legends of Wrestling is being developed at Acclaim's Salt Lake City studios and will feature over 40 legendary grapplers, including Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Jerry "I almost killed Andy Kaufman" Lawler, George "The Animal" Steele, King Kong Bundy, The Road Warriors, and managers such as Captain Lou "My Mario was better than Bob Hoskins's Mario" Albano and Jimmy "The Mouth of the South" Hart. The game is expected to arrive on GameCube in early 2002.
