Not a joke: GameCube hits the US in September, Europe in Spring 2002.
Reuters News reports that Atsuo Asada, NCL's executive vice-president, announced today that GameCube will be launching as scheduled in July for Japan, one month early in September for North America, and in Spring 2002 in Europe. Disappointing news for our European readers, for sure, but US gamers will be enthralled to know that they will not only get their system without a delay, but they'll get it early!
