To say a game is slightly reminiscent this week is to call E3 a little annoying.

The big release this week on a worldwide basis is the long-awaited Ever Oasis, which drops Friday. Casey will have a review up shortly, but it's a very chill experience based on the demo and is certainly worth looking into. But if you don't trust me on that, Neal's preview should help in that regard.

And from a game made by a Zelda-adjacent team, we go to a flagrant Wind Waker, um, "homage" with the week's big worldwide release on Switch, Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas. If you must get your fight on, the weekly Arcade Archives release is the progenitor of Divekick, Fatal Fury 2. There's a couple of interesting eShop titles as well for the 3DS: River City Knights of Justice and Runbow Pocket for New 3DS owners, while Cave Story+ dropped into North American stores.

Each territory has an oddly intriguing release as well: North America gets the free as in speech Daikon Set, Europe picks up a fun-looking puzzle game from the creators of Hot Rod Racer and ZaciSa: Defense of the Crystal Dimensions, while Japan's other Switch title is the second touch-only game on the system.

The difference between Europe and America's Sonic sales from what I can tell is that Europe has the Sonic Game Gear games on sale.

The 2D ones are actually pretty decent little games from what I've played of them (I have triple trouble myself.) 50% off is about $2 in America which is a really good deal for them.

Plenty of Sonic games are also on sale in the PSN store.

Sonic being on sale is kinda a given since today the 23rd is his birthday.

Wow! You were born on the same day as Sonic! I don't know if that is lucky or unfortunate though....

What are the reviews on Oceanborn? I forgot about this title until now and remember being intrigued by it before.

Nowadays I think it is a good thing. Few years ago not so much.
