The final week of a two-system economy.
This week's downloads mark the end of an era, as next week we welcome a new console to the list (and they will be ALL OVER the thing). But the existing systems aren't going quietly, unless you're a 3DS owner in Europe. The Wii U has a pretty big deal with the release of forma.8, the last Nindies @ Home game to launch before the Switch. Longtime friend of the site and new NWR staffer Casey Gibson reviewed it for us, so check that out.
On 3DS, there's an interesting story behind the week's release, Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D. It was the game that was pulled from the late, lamented DSiWare because it literally cost the publisher more than the game was making. Will Circle's marketing be the saviour? Only the shadow knows. The Wii U Virtual Console release is the previously-announced, somewhat historic Harvest Moon 64 (right before Story of Seasons: A Trio of Towns hits the 3DS next week, go figure.)
For Europe, forma.8 and Harvest Moon 64's debut on the continent essentially round out the week.
